We went to this cafe one chilly Autumn day for lunch. I ordered ox with green sauce (a regional specialty) with boiled potatoes and it was delicious. My partner enjoyed her goulasch soup, with freshly baked bread. The staff were attentive and very friendly and the ambience was augmented by the tempting displays of cakes and sweet treats. The coffee is very good too. HIghly recommended

Haben das Halbpensionsmenü gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht Daumen hoch da für.In der Vorspeise gab es das Rindercarpaccio mit Gamba, danach gab es die Kürbissuppe im Hauptgang den Kalbstafelspitz der war Butter weich.Und als Süssen Abschluss ein super Flufigen Blaubeerpfannenkuchen mit super cremigen Vanilleeis. Da kann sich so manche Eisdiele was abschauen was die Eiscreme an geht.Wir Kommen wieder

We visited Limburg a couple of weeks ago and we decided to have a brief lunch here before taking our train back. The day was pleasant and we ate out (in a small but peculiar square)Since we had little time we tried only a specialty, Flammkuche, without tasting more complex recipes (which are available in a different menu and which, according to what I saw from other tables looked tasty and abundant). This Alsatian specialty was excellent: crunchy pastry and savoury filling. Service was rather slow, because there was only one person for many clients, but this testifies a) that the place has a familiar conduction and b) that even a simple dish is made freshly and, so to say, express! This was confirmed by the fact that when I entered to pay I saw a woman (perhaps the waitress' mother) who was preparing other tartes flambées at the moment. To sum up: a very nice place to stay and have either a snack or a full lunch.

Nice café for lunch. The baked schafkase on the blackboard was what brought me in. Bummer but they only had one serving so my wife opted for a panini which also very good. Great service. Great place for a light lunch. Iâd go back.

We went to this place after reading the previous reviews. The staff are very friendly and always smiling. We ordered steaks with french fries. They were unfortunately not great and i wouldn't call the quality "good' or" excellent", as the previous reviewers did. As it costs 18 euro per person, i think it slightly expensive for this quality and for such a small non-touristic town. It is just average (not bad, not good either) and does not deserve to be on top of the list.

This Michelin star-rated restaurant is located on the third floor of the Werkstadt building with fine view over the city. Modern ambiance , professional wellcome by the young lady of the house. They serve a special lunch menu. This ,however, was not what should be expected from a star restaurant. The main course was what we would call " gut - burgerliches essen" . Maybe the chef was absent or had a bad day.

Small and populare place. God vine list. I tried the wok vegetables and 3 scampies on topp. This dish is different every time i ordret it, different chef every time? But large porsjons helps.

A meal here is a highlight of a visit to Limburg.The choice and quality of the food and wine and the knowledgeable staff perfectly complement the atmosphere of this wonderful old building. There is a great choice for all kinds of diet and plenty of information is available about what is on the menu.There is a very good selection of wines and, again, much knowledge which staff are happy to share.

We found this place but chance, just looking for something other that italian to eat and came across a small, beautfully decorated and with great service restaurant. We ordered chicken stuffed with goat cheese and potatoes and my husbando had three meats plate, very good presentation, perfetly cooked, great beer and good prices. Absolutely recommended
