Tolles Ambiente, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet! Das Essen war sehr gut! Burger und SüÃkartoffelpommes sehr lecker. Auch das Tel Aviv meets Barcelona war köstlich. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Visited during the - albeit good natured - furore that engulfs this town during the period of the amazing phenomenon, known as the Medieval Christmas Market.As this cafe/casual restaurant is adjacent to the market it was pretty hectic, but the staff were terrific and kept the place running efficiently and effectively, even though there was, literally, standing room only!From the filter coffee through the "bread box", to the rather quaffable local red wine, this busy, bustling establishment managed to offer an oasis of calm in a town that is anything but during December.

Hidden Gem outside the center of Esslingen. Everything was cooked delicously and presented beautifully. The cuisine is mediterrenean with a modern twist.It is obvious that the chef is dedicated and a master of his kitchen.Only drawbacks where the tweedy ambience and the (friendly but) slow service.If you want to have a special dinner in Esslingen, Ev Zin is the place.

We were here for a wedding reception at noon and a wedding dinner and party in the evening, in one word absolutely perfect, service is very very friendly and very professional, the food and the location on the square were magnificant, especially on a very nice and warm wedding day. Big thumbs up for this restaurant !

Traditional restaurant well-located in Esslingen's charming old town; picturesque interior and pleasant outdoor seating on a quiet square. Menu somewhat limited; the pork/spaetzle dish was very good, but relatively expensive; and unaccompanied by vegetables or salad. It's nice to find places that still brew their own beer, except that it wasn't especially good (rather weak, imho); and is served in small glasses better suited to Sekt. So I would probably try someplace else next time

All Swabian classics and some other German specialities are served here, along with local wine - which is difficult due to climate, especially for the red, but the barrique Spätburgunder is quite good. The food is good, yet not extraordinary, but it's not expensive and the location and the atmosphere are great and staff is very friendly. I recommend to try the Maultaschen and the Besenpfännle.

This is a very nice restaurant in an old house in the City center. The place was not full and most of the costumers were locals. The food was really good. I had a Cordon Bleu pork with potato salad and a fresh salad that were amazing. The local Esslingen beer is also good. For dessert, apple fritters with vanilla ice cream.The service was excellent and the restaurant is very cozy.

We booked this restaurant which was fortunate, despite it being a Monday night, as it was full when we arrived at 7pm.The food we ate, the atmosphere, the age of the dining area in the cellar we sat in, the helpful waiter, and the excellent wines and beers we chose, all added up to make a very special evening for us.We recommend 'Weinkeller Einhorn' to anyone wanting to experience a genuine German evening.
