My colleague took me to Teepott in Warnemunde for dinner one night; they had a wide variety of food items - however like most restaurants, limited vegan/vegetarian options. I had ordered asparagus soup and a cucumber salad - both excellent; a new potato/asparagus side was very bland.The ambience was the best for me - as it was right by the water - and I had a table that allowed me to look out at the promenade.

This was our first time to this place. We had dinner with friends in Wilhelm's wintergarden and very much enjoyed the excellent food. Especially the "Probiermenu" was a great choice and evidenced the great potential this restaurant absolutely has. Unfortunately as excellent as the food was, as mediocre was the service. Friendly, but not attentive at all and certainly not at the professional level you'd expect in such place. Only because of the food, we would come again. But raising the service level to the quality level of the kitchen would really make this place a top spot in the area.

Although I have full board at my hotel, after several weeks, one likes to explore. So, we went to this nice little beer house. The food was typical German...and I liked it. This restaurant belongs to the Grandhotel Heiligendamm and is situated in a prime location with vintage ambiente :)BUT :((the food is average (no taste, only luke warm....)the slow and unorganized service could be improvedthe price/quality ratio is badno thank you, nein danke :(

This restaurant serves a selection of largely German style food. Eat here once and was impressed with the quality of the food. English was spoken and there was an English menu (with a few interesting translations!) Would go again for sure.

THE gastronomic highlight of Heiligendamm (I admit excluding the starred restaurant Friedrich Franz which I did not visit). Newly opened Medini offers such a good, fresh, simple yet sophisticated Italian food, that you will want to return every day. This was the âon stationâ restaurant the train manager on the Molli train recommended. Apparently itâs just as popular with non train visitors. Itâs a charming old style station waiting room adored with all the railway accessories. The staff were pleasant and polite with good service all round. I chose a herring dish which was served with a large baked potato and had a local white wine...delicious! Make sure youâre hungry going here the portions are large. Very comfortable seating and of course uniquely situated for the return Molli train. Just a tip....I broke my journey here on the way back and continued on a later train, which was allowed, ideal!

Cafe Zikke has a pleasant outdoor seating area. The food is very good and the staff are friendly. We were there with 3 little dogs and they immediately brought out a bowl of water for the dogs, a little tray with dog snacks and cold wonderful beer for us.The meal was quickly served, well prepared and tasted great.
