Ich habe hier meinen 60. Geburtstag gefeiert, die Kinder haben teilweise drei Nächte im Gasthof geschlafen. Die tolle SPA Anlage unten hätte ich nicht erwartet und die Kinder/Enkel haben das richtig genieÃen können. Die Feier wurde wunderbar vorbereitet und der Service während der Feier passte auch. Das Essen ist zumeist sehr gute bayrische Kost, aber es gibt auch was für Kalorienbewusste. Wir essen hier gern und häufig.

We chose restaurant Hirzinger as friends recommended it. The menu is traditional Bavarian and food is excellent. Decoration and table decoration give the restaurant a true Bavarian ambiance. You just join one of the large tables. In summer you can dine in the beer garden. Service is adequate and very friendly.The guesthouse dates back to the 14th century when it was mentioned âWirth von Selhuebenâ. Until 1928 it served as a Post Station. The guesthouse has its own butchery guaranteeing top quality of meat dishes in the restaurant. Next to the over-a-century-old original inn, you find a wine room in the vaults of the former horse stalls and a newly built hotel with 17 rooms in rural Bavarian style. We recommend Gasthof Hirzinger to anyone who seeks very good food at a reasonable price. The restaurant deserves a Bib Gourmand. Well worth a visit.

We ate here as a large group and were not disappointed - there is an excellent selection of different food and even though it is a fish restaurant, there are meat and non-meat options and some Bavarian specialities. Portions are of a good size and there is an extensive wine menu. Ask to see the schnapps collection - the bottles are enormous!

Gocklwirt is a unique restaurant outside of Rosenheim and a 1km walk from the banks of Simsee. The hosts at this restaurant are lovely, very friendly and very helpful. It is a proper family run business and they care about what they do. The food was delicious - I had the turkey in mushroom sauce followed by hot raspberries and vanilla ice creams for dessert. Good portion sizes and the price is good too. The restaurant has a world clock and the owner gives tours of the restaurant at certain times when there are enough people of the restaurant and to the world clock, unfortunately I didn't get to see this. Hopefully next time!

Modern bavarian style restaurant. Good choice of food, good quality. Friendly personnel. Parking a bit difficult in Prien, although better at night.This is actually a hotel (Bayrischer Hof). Also very recommendable is the bar across the corridor, named "Fletz".

After the very good reviews we we went there on a Friday evening. When we came the restaurant was still almost empty. Just one couple. We managed to order before a rather large party of 10 people entered. The waiter was not to be seen for 10 to 20 min at a time. With Max 20 people dining one should think it would be no problem for 2 people, but obviously not. The waitress had time for a long guest entertainment. The toilets was freezing. Be sure to take your jacket. The pizzas was good and the bottom very nice and crisp. Nothing to say negative about the food, but if you don't plan to stay for some hours then consider other options.

Seecafe Toni is located in one of the best locations to have lunch overlooking Chiemsee. The meal was good but came in relays so the four of us had our main course with large time gaps. We had 2 errors on our account and feel that we should not have to check whether we have been overcharged, something unusual in Germany.

Great choice on the menu to suit most tastes. Limited wine list but fantastic Ice Cream menu & everything well presented. Mains are good value and good sized portions.
