We ate here as part of a tour luncheon and the food was excellent and they did a great job serving us. The guacamole they served first was terrific and the roasted vegetables and sliders were both excellent. And we loved the atmosphere!

This restaurant is not large but the food is so good. I started with a Yucca Ceviche, which was delicious. I was with a large group and I believe we tried every starter. No one was disappointed. The avocado toast was VERY popular. The entrees were all delicious and even though there were 16 of us, we were relatively quickly served. The kitchen is small but mighty! The desserts were delicious. I was very impressed with this restaurant. I know I would not have found it without our guide but am very happy we did!

The menu has a big alert along the bottom warning you of the 27% service charge for the restaurant. Do your math beforehand so you don't end up shocked, even if you did see it coming (raising my hand here).The service was friendly and attentive but the food took my attention here. What our group had to say about it:Veggie causa: Mushrooms, carrots, peppers, and broccoli on the mashed potato heaven. Very good.Pasta with shrimp: Sauce was unique and super creamy. Shrimp cooked well. Tasty.Chicken with ham: Essentially a cordon blue. Cooked well with good ham. Cabbage salad was tasty.Was it worth the 27% service charge? Depends. If you have access to great Peruvian food elsewhere, no. If you don't, yes. But after a review of our receipt we saw they had taken several hundred colones of the prices of our meal, dropping it lower than what we should have paid. Thank you!If you are not on a budget and want a fancy night out with great Peruvian food, this is the ticket.

Enjoyed lunch on the back terrace which is quite pleasant surrounded by plants and lots of fresh air. The portions are quite large and filling. It was difficult to choose from all the veg options. Overall the food was tasty. Next time I will pass on the fresh juice as it was green but tasted like water.

I visited the restaurant with mum and some dear friends.The restaurant is located inside Grano de Oro's Hotel.The atmosphere of this place is exquisite and absolutely unique in San Jose because the architecture of this hotel, despite is a recent work (modern) evokes the beautiful charm of Victorian architecture. There's a refined work of interior architecture and details which well worth a visit and which will make you feel you into another era.But not just the atmosphere counts, food is wonderful, tasty, refined and prepared with love and care.In the menu you can choose a wide variety of delicious dishes made with local ingredients and french cooking techniques, as well.I strongly encourage people to visit the place.
