Marco Restaurant

Poutine and pizza were amazing. Prices are right for the offer. The service was friendly and fast. We went for lunch while we were skiing at Mont Saint Bruno (about 5 minutes drive away) and no regrets. My son wanted pizza so we ordered that and poutine. Everything was good. Old school pizza, home made fries, gravy is good and we both were full before we could finish everything. Excellente pizza, la poutine aussi est délicieuse. Des frites maison, un service courtois et rapide. Les prix sont justes. Très satisfaits d'avoir choisi ce restaurant pour notre lunch de journée ski.

Chez Lionel

Context: Wednesday night, a rainy evening, and we (mid 60 year old couple) wanted to have dinner out at the last minute. We book an early table at 6pm thinking this will be simple. We got there and were seated promptly in this chic bistro with a beautiful wine fridge which spans the back wall. The service was quick and attentive. We were seated a few tables from a group of 10 or 12 which seemed pretty tame so i thought nothing of it. We were served our appetizers and wine fairly promptly. They have an innovative way of serving wine by the glass; 1, 3 or 5 ounce portions. Interesting! The soup and the boudin with duck magret were very, very good. After the first service, the wheels fell off. Another group of 10 walked in on our other side and we were sandwiched. The first group now had their wine and another 2 persons sat right beside us. The sound level went ballistic. There is no way we could talk without yelling at each other.Of course, the service slowed down, taxed by the new arrivals. It took a long time to get our main course. The steak was very good but the scallops and ris de veau ordinary. With the place very full and noisy enough to wake the dead, they decided to play music, the only part of which we could make out was the thundering base.As we attempted to pay and leave, our server was impossible to catch so we asked the first person we could find to get us our bill which he did promptly. And we got out as fast as we could to get out of this capharnaum. If you like noisy bistros, this will take it to a new level. Mid to high range prices with decent food make it attractive. We will not go back in the evening. Our age may be blamed for our resentment of a loud atmosphere but this was worse than tolerable. We believe that the scheduling of a bunch of arrivals at the same time perturbs their service beyond reason and should be better managed and avoided if they want to serve their customers well.Hello, We thank you for taking the time to write to us and describe your evening. We are sorry to read that the experience did not live up to your expectations. We take note of your comment about the noise level in the restaurant and we will forward your concerns to the team. Hoping to have the opportunity to greet you again. Thank you

Benny&Co

Our first try at Benny & Co and we were very impressed. The Atmosphere was excellent with dining room equally appealing to a St Hubert and Scores restaurant except without the waitress. So if you don't mind ordering at the counter then getting up to grab your food then you're all set. They also have a small salad and soup bar. The food was ready within 10 minutes, portion size and taste were very good. To top it off - the price: $45 for a family of 4 (1 kid meal with one meal of ribs). Perfect chicken/rib family restaurant!

Rotisserie St-Hubert

Finally got to try a St. Hubert's restaurant. What a disappointment! The chicken and dipping sauce were fantastic but the bread was a toasted stale hamburger bun and the potato was black, rotten, undercooked and cold. My son had the Caesar salad and the lettuce was basically rotten. I am no foodie and generally love places like this but do not waste your money! The only saving grace was the fantastic server. We tipped her the customary 15 percent because the food was not her fault!

Rotisserie Scores

Looking for a decent place to eat we stopped in Saint Julie for a bite to eat without really knowing what to expect. The place is huge inside and ready for a crowd of any size. The layout has many booths and tables mixed together. We had a very friendly server that was helpful without hovering. The food was prepared quickly and brought to the table hot. Overall I would say we got good value for what we ordered. Nothing is particularly fancy but it sure beats fast food stops on the same road. My dad enjoyed the order of ribs and my mom had haddock and they both seemed please with the quality. The salad bar was decent with several type of salad, pickles, fruit and dressings. Of and it also include two types of soup where were a little bland unfortunately.Enjoy your stop and give yourself about an hour.

Restaurant Lupo

Greeting was a little distracted and the reservation was taken for the wrong time. Regardless, we were seated on time and a decent table. This restaurant is modern elegant and specializes in fancy pizza and good pasta. The centre of attention is a stylish pizza wood burning oven.It is mid to high prices which represents a decent value. The atmosphere is cafe, bustling on the Saturday night we were there. It is a little noisy when busy. The service was attentive, friendly and well paced. The wine list was adequate with some good wines in the 100$ range being offered. The food was pretty good , not great. My plate of giant shrimp was good but arrived lukewarm at the table. The veal parmigiana my wife took was better. The appetizer of italian meatballs was the best of the three dishes. Two persons, four dishes, two glasses of wine and a coffe came out to 135$ , tip included. Not bad, i guess.Would i go back? Not for a special evening but for a decent meal, why not.The restaurant is a little formal for kids but it would still work. Mobility challenged persons would have no isssue here.

This is the best Allo Mon Coco I have ever been to. The service is unlike any other. They are extremely attentive, and welcoming. The choco coco plate is outstanding, with a chocolate banana crepe, eggs, potatoes, and bacon. The food is fresh, well priced for it's value, and is consistently good. Billy and Thomai are the best hosts, and both make a mean cappuccino. If you are in the area, go check this place out!

Markina Resto Boutique

My friends and I tried Markina for dessert, and everything we had was beyond our expectations. I strongly recommend ordering a hot chocolate. You put yourself a chocolate sphere in some milk, and the chocolate will melt to combine with the milk! Yummy! I also had a Raspberry Square (like a Date Square but with raspberries in it) and I loved it!
