We both ordered the filet mignon, to start I got the balsamic salad, good but very very light on the balsamic could not really taste it, bf got the soup of the day (corn). I then got the crusted goat cheese, now as weird as it sounds I am lactose intolerant but I do like goats cheese when I want to be daring.. that said this dish was amazing light crunch with not an overbearing cheese flavour the apples add a little more sweetness as well as the honey.My bf got fresh oysters and he said they were very good.The filets were very good, truffle mashed potatoes are great as always and the king mushroom was amazing.We got a creme brulee which was also very good, nice crunch and perfect cream texture, the mi cuit au chocolate was amazing as well a light texture with gooy chocolate inside nice cocoa flavour not sugar sweet but just enough. Over all very nice restaurant we had a great time, gin and tonics were very good here, we would go back :).

We ate here for two of the three nights we stayed in Magog. Excellent selection of Gluten-free options, including french fries. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Friendly, attentive service; the second night we were served by Alain Roger, the owner. (NB The main street of Magog, where this restaurant is located, has been completely dug up, but the work stops around 5 o'clock; construction is expected to continue for one year.)Thank you very much! Hope to see you again :)

They have a very nice menu and great coffee. They roast their own beans. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is casual. They have a liquor license if you want a drink. Nice sandwiches and great eggs benedict served until 2 on the weekends.

We stayed and ate here on a half board package (room, dinner and breakfast).Only the two of us and one other guest but the food was excellent (tasty, well-prepared and presented) and so was the proprietress/hostess's friendly service.What is amazing is that the chef de cuisine - the hostess's partner - was a plumber who offered to step in when her previous chef left.Breakfast is a very nice, delicious 3 course affair so you won't leave hungry.Definitely have the duck. It was cooked a bit more done than we're used to French style (rare) but it was still excellent.Limited but good value wine list.Wow this is a great review. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with others. Being in a duck country, I agree with you it is a dish not to be missed. My wife and I went here for lunch when away at a hockey tournament. We almost didnât go in because we thought it was closed. We entered to find it bustling. We had a great light lunch and would go back if we were ever in Granby again.

The setting in this restaurant is superb: table cloths and carpeted flooring help dampen the sound so you can have a decent conversation without screaming. If you are lucky enough to nab a table next to the windows facing the lake, you are most likely to see hummingbirds just a couple of feet away. Classical music plays quietly in the background. The service is wonderful, friendly and attentive. But the drawback is that the food is pretty bland and you don't get much of it for your money, especially not the table d'hote menu at $90 Canadian a head. We ate there twice: first time round I had a boring fresh salad followed by a rather tasteless helping of lamb. The second time I paid extra for an uninspiring lobster starter and then a rather salty chunk of walleye salmon. The breakfasts though are excellent.

We got a pre-theatre take out sandwich from the display case. Friendly service, but pricey for a hunk of tuna on 2 pieces of regular bread. People eating in resto seemed pleased.Good morning, Thank you for your review. All prices are listed on our price list on the counter. I just wish you would have described better the display case, as we de not want readers to think that we sell pre packed sandwiches as you find in convenience stores or gas station. Our bread comes from the local bakery and we use the best and fresher ingredients we can find locally. Unfortunately, being a small business we do not have the same opportunities as chains or franchises so our running costs are higher than all others. We offer more than 40 options of meals in our display case, which makes it unique and this is why customers are coming back. Hoping that you did enjoy your sandwiches.

When we arrived to our reserved evening at this restaurant, we were surprised it was part of a major hotel complex and we were a bit apprehensive that it would be nothing more than a chain type restaurant. Quelle surprise! After supper, I remarked that after having just spent 5 weeks in Europe, this was my best meal all summer. The décor is very modern, with a fabulous glass walled wine cellar. Attention to acoustic was evident with the sound dampening ceiling, Service was very pleasant, very efficient and very appropriate. And the food â well go find out for yourself, but we are pretty sure you will be delighted. We might just have to fly back from Edmonton for another delightful supper there. The restaurant is outside of the city center on Rue Mountain and the setting is perfect for a memorable dinner. Our server, the chef's wife was very polite, and attentive during our entire visit, explaining the dishes in the menu in the utmost detail. Every part of the 4-course meal was done to perfection, a feast for the eye and the palate. We both had the filet mignon, tender Canadian beef, cooked according to our request served in a delicious sauce with spring vegetables. Our compliments to the chef and his wife for a wonderful experience. This place should not be missed by anyone visiting the Granby area for great food by a superb French chef. Last but not least, you can bring your own wine, which helps in lowering the already reasonable cost of the dinner.
