Reviewed By PP_RJThe hotel is very near to the city center - about 1-2min by car. Everything is clean, tidy and silent. The view to the forest mainly made of Araucaria's trees is relaxing and romantic. Great internal size of the chalet, which has hot tub, gas heater, fire place, and an enormous balcony. This is for sure a place for couples. There is a beautiful pool in front of the breakfast saloon. Free wi-fi. The only negative comment is that the hotel was not accepting any credit cards.

Reviewed By Johnny SWe stayed in the Suspenso Maior during 3 days. The place is great for resting. There is no noisy around. We were in touch with nature daily. The room is clean and excellent atmosphere The staff is very friendly. We loved daily delicious breakfast. Beyond we took 2 hours relaxing massage, an amazing experience with beautiful twilight. Silvia definitely thought in each detail for our wellness. We really recommend to check packet massage and consider book Jardim Suspenso da Babilônia to stay.

Our hostel is located in the center of town but once you walk through the gate it almost feels like you are on the countryside. It is a house with a green -almost endless- garden. We strive to spread the green. Everything we do, we do as sustainable as possible. But above all, we want to share our warm home so everyone can feel at home in the magnificent Serra da Mantiqueira.

Reviewed By BoerstraVery nice hostel with a relaxt atmosphere. The hosts are a young couple who make you feel very welcome with their positive spirit (and the wonderful breakfast helps as well!). The dorm is nice although I would have loved a curtain next to my bed, but the beds are comfortable and it was nice and clean. I loved the endless garden and the hammocks. Great experience and would defenitely reccomend!

Reviewed By andrelmsantosWhenever I come to the region I go to the district of Serrinha do Alambari to appreciate the natural reserve. Here you can find absolute peace at the very heart of nature: this dense green spot among all the farms and cities around is the perfect place to rest and take a break from reality, detaching your mind from the urban chaos and pollution from the big cities -- it's the perfect countryside escape! With all its amazing trees and rapids, here you can practice some sport, camp, meditate and so on, be it with the family, on a couple or even with friends. To arrive to the camping, exit highway BR-116 (President Dutra) at km 311, following the road to Mauá / Maringá / Maromba. Pass through the intersection access to Penedo and follow the road. A few km later you'll find the exit left to access the Serrinha do Alambari district (mind the almost hidden small road signs indicating the exit). You'll cross an entrance portal and will follow a dirt / stones road all the all to the top. Make your way along the route until you arrive at the central square, when you must follow the stones road on the right. Keep going until you eventually reach the camping on the top (about 20 min later by car). With an entrance fee of about 12 BRL (3.5 USD), single day non-camper visit, parking included, you can profit from the rapids and waterfalls spread everywhere on the camping, especially in a sunny day. They have a small restaurant as well as a sauna right at the bottom of a rapid, really worth trying it! This place is amazing and I'm sure you'll love it!
