Disappointed!!!

Reviewed By Alison D

If you are looking for somewhere that is good at communicating this place is a no no! So we arrived late because our flight was delayed & the information given at the main reception was poor & non existent! We was told the restaurant was open but only the main menu was displayed which entailed ‘pigs trotters!’ So we had to walk to the shop 3 miles there & 3 miles back after 14 hour day of traveling!! The following day we popped into the restaurant to find another menu that sold burgers ect again no communication!! Note the supermarket on site is only open 8-1:30pm & 5pm - 7pm & not very good when late arrivals need to shop for food!! The bus was our savour of the holiday but again was not impressed to learn after paying £1.65 each trip on the bus that you could actually get a 10 trip ticket for €7.95 which was a right money saver unfortunately we did not find this out until the 3rd day! The eurocamp website does not state that all facilities are not free so the mini golf tennis ect you have to pay for & the biggest thing that disappointed us was that the outdoor pools did not open until 9th April we left 8th!! So could not even sit on a lounger when it was hot!! The accommodation was poor please see pics attached! No oven, no toaster or kettle! Our air con/heater had not remote control & to be honest it looked like it had not been cleaned we both wanted to check out & go home basically!! The bed was like a concrete slab aswell!! If you want a peaceful holiday do not go here as the caravans are so close together & baring in mind we was out of season we had a family behind us that was very noisy & drinking all day! The BBQ did not work either! The only things that made up for all of the above was that Barcelona city was amazing & the weather was too! It is €5.75 one way on the coach outside the camp site which is great value for money!! A recommendation for Barcelona that we loved was the magic fountain a must see & visit the views are spectacular!!!

Camping Sitges

Fun summer holidays ???

Reviewed By Genco514

We have stayed at camping sitges many times in August. We keep coming back as it's just such a nice place to relax and spend time. It's a very well kept friendly family run site. The pool is really nice and there is a poolside bar/restaurant (sitting next to the pool in the evening with a sangria is just fantastic). Facilities are spotlessly clean. Don't need a car as can get mon bus from the airport with the stop directly outside. 5 stars from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm a kid and I loved it!

Reviewed By EvaKid2003

I'm an eleven year old girl from England but that lives in Spain. I would reccomend this place for kids. It has a great swimming pool, but my only complaint would be the strict life guard. She invented rules, and they were very silly ones! But besides that there is only one thing I would complain about, the vending machine. Every meal, drink or snack from the bar had to be ordered from a vending machine. But the staff are very friendly and I reccomend this camp to any family.

Molto buono

Reviewed By Federico B

With a camper car: excellent camping site

Reviewed By Isabelle P

We spent one night at the camping, with our own camper. Basically only needed a nice spot and electricity. And that was perfect: much space, many trees and shadow, 6 amp. electr, and a quiet environment. We were very positively surprised by the camping restaurant: delicious grilled meat, a nice choice of dishes and superfriendly service. Not surprised to see also locals came there for dinner. They sell bread each day. The perfect place for us. Swimming pools looked very ok, although we did not use them. Price of €42,5 is too high (but it is like everywhere else in Spain), compared to the €28 to 30 we would pay for a similar camping in France.

Pre-Cruise Barcelona Rip-Off

Firstly Barcelona really tips you off the night before a cruise.$500 a night for a room. Nope not me I will stay near airport and rent a cabin in a campground. Big mistake, next time fly in the day of the cruise. Back to the campground. A total hole, crowded, dirty smelly and since it is on the runway of the Barcelona airport. Every 1 minute a jet blasts over camp, dont worry they stop at 1am and start back up at 5am. Screaming kids barking dogs drunk Spanish. Welcome to Spain. Cant wait for the cruise.

Great stay

Reviewed By Jo_Anne_Mariano

First time in this place and it was a great experience. Staffs was very nice. Easy access from Barcelona to the campsite. We stayed in glamping domo for 2nights . The only thing that makes my rating 4 out of 5 is that the birds dropping on top of domo .Just atleast to get it clean before guest arrive. Pool and washroom/toilets near glamping domo are still under renovation and I guess they were trying to get it done for the coming summer vacation. Anyway,we enjoyed our stay so we will definitely come back.

Lovely little bungalow in front of the beach

Reviewed By livinpassion

We enjoyed our stay at the tiny bungalow Astria. There is limited space in the house especially the shower, but equipped with everything we need for one night stay: fully equipped kitchen, fridge, clothes drying rack etc. Everything clean and organised. The best part is the walking distance to the beach just beside the camping. There are space to have barbecue too. For those who is sensitive to noise, take note that the sound isolation is not so well so you can hear your neighbours talking next door at late night even though the volume is not excessively high. You can hear sounds of airplanes as well as it is close to the airport.

Nice Campsite - ruined by teenagers

Reviewed By Molly C

We stayed for 5 nights in August in a permanent tent by the pool, called Triganos. Every single night we were kept awake until after 2am by teenagers playing music and shouting and running around. They also dominated the swimming pool during the day with their own music system played extremely loudly, and jumping in the pool making it unsafe for families or young children. We found groups of teenagers -girls and boys and dogs - hanging out in the ladies toilets playing music. It´s very intimidating for young children and not apropriate for men to be socialising in the ladies toilets. The toilets were dirty and always covered in toilet paper as the kids obviously found it funny to vandalise the toilets. I noticed this campsite was very big, with many permanent holiday homes. The teenagers return every summer with their families and so they behave without respect to other guests at the campsite. Cars and motorbikes were driving in and out the campsite all night, and I did not feel very secure, as normally after 11pm the gates remain shut. Not in this campsite. The triganos by the pool are not very suited to elderly guests as the ground is uneven and the noise is relentless, day and night. The staff in reception, especially Mireia, were friendly and helpful, but there are not enough security staff or cleaning staff to maintain a camp site of this size and keep it safe and clean. It´s a beautiful location, right next to the beach (although again, not suitable for elderly guests as the routes to the beach are dangerous, you either have to jump over a train track or climb under tiny tunnels) so this campsite has a lot of potential but sadly ruined by disrespectful guests.
