Simple little place with two tables inside and three outside, also a barbecue outside. Only homemade traditional food like soups, pies, sausages etc. Good Czech beer. Cheap, tasty. Nice relaxing views of the river from outside too.

Right in the centre, not far from the Museum and Detinets park entry, this place is really warm and welcoming. attentive though a bit slow waiters, good food (we took pizza, tomato soup, coffees and some pastry), clean WC, free WiFi...a good choice to have some lunch (we didn`t have an evening meal there). In general I was surprised with the high level of eateries there (but I used TA reviews when choosing the places). I guess they have an open kitchen there, though not sure

The cafe is centrally located. The interior looks really pleasant and neat. The staff is very polite and is ready to help. Coffee is tasty (including not standard variants, i.e. lavender and rose latte), cakes are of a good variety. We gave a try to eat past and liked it. I enjoyed our supper and highly recommend visiting this cafe, should you visit Novgorod.

Found this little gem for an early dinner/late lunch. Being a crazy cat lady, it suited me to have cat 'icons' everywhere, but not overpoweringly so. The food was excellent, service was prompt and in English. Prices were not too bad either. Range of food included italian (homemade pastas and pizzas) to traditional russian.
