Taastrup is a Danish railway town or/and suburb of Copenhagen - 15 km west of the capital, and formerly the administrative seat of Høje-Taastrup Municipality, Region Hovedstaden. It takes its name from the village of Taastrup Valby, which also gave its name to the station established in 1859, from which the town grew. The population on 1 January 2014 was 33,121. It forms a twin (sub)urban area with neighbouring suburb Høje Taastrup since the 1980s, that has engulfed the villages of Taastrup Valby, Høje Taastrup, Kragehave and Klovtofte. This area has almost grown together with the town of Hedehusene.

Vi kom ind og fik et bord af en sød servitrice. Vi bestilte en Hakkebøf samt en gryderet: Kylling i Karry, nu kom den ikke ind i en gryde men i en dyd tallerken.Begge dele smagte godt, men salaten til gryderetten var en del råddent, som vi poienterede til servitricen, så forventer man at få en besked om at det nok skulle blive bedre næste gang, men intet skete. Så derfor 3 stjerner.

We visited for a Saturday Brunch Buffet, and were really pleased with the quality of the food on offer. Fresh, delicious, and of a higher standard than you see at most weekend Brunch buffets. The range was very, very limited though. Maybe it was the focus on quality over quantity? For the price of around 360kr for 2 people to have a juice and the buffet, they probably need to dot the i's and cross the t's. The food really was excellent though, and if there was any criticism, it might be that the warm dishes could have been warmer, but that is a perennial problem with most buffets. They are certainly quick to replace items that are getting low in the buffet, and the service was quick and friendly. I wouldn't be opposed to eating there again, that's for sure.

Kommer ikke så tit, men det sker med arbejdet 2-3 gange om året. Men det er besøget værd hver gang. Stort udvalg af både bolle, creamcheese, salat, tilbehør og dressing. Og der er smag i det hele. Godt sted.

An absolut gem serving the most tasty and freshly made bagels and flatbread sandwiches, the ndressing is so tasty and superbly spiced, the filling crisp and fresh nd with a huge choice. Smiling and extremely passionate staff making one feel so very welcome. A must when in Waves Shopping Mall on the 1st. floor

We were at Portalen for a Scottish concert and had ordered tickets for Celtic food and beer before the concert. The food was stew and bread with a small Carlsberg beer. Very good for the price - 60 DKK and seconds were available for those who were hungry.

The pork and beef was terribly dry. The pork skin was chewy and not I discarded it. No signs on the food indicating what it was - only the source of the meat. The web says 50 warm dishes. There were nine in the buffet.

Cafe Brillat is located in Glostrup Shopping-center opposite Glostrup S-train station.We have now dined at cafe Brillat twice.First time we got course of the day - Roast Pork - 3 slices, with potatoes and red cabbage and sauce.Second time we got a Wiener Schnitzel.Food is well- done and taste really good.Waiter is attentive and you can ask about which wine they suggest, and you get good advice.I can recommend

Nice place but very expensive and bad service. First the bill was too high 180kr instead of 150kr. Then half of our order was forgotten. Staff seems not to be able to handle more than a handful of customers.1000 tak for din tilbagemelding, god eller dårlig så lytter vi til kunderne :-) jeg er frygtelig ked af du haar haft en dårlig oplevelse. Det beklager jeg .

I arrived in Hoje Taastrup at 21 and i had not many choices where to eat. I ordered a BBQ Burger (the only thing I understood in the Danish menu!). It was big and quite good and also cheap. The sauce, I think a sort of mayo, wasn't very good. It's good if have no other choice...

I visited because of the good reviews about the steak. I was not disappointed, an excellent plate of food with fresh salad and grilled vegetables. I ordered medium done but it was medium/rare, not a problem as it was delicious but they should know what the order is. The restaurant is in a shopping centre and lacks atmosphere and the decor is very basic.
