My girls (7,5,2) and I absolutely love it here, Harriet and her mum are the most friendly people, always make you feel welcome! And of course serve the most amazing brownies in the universe!!!!!! Flat whites are my fave, and I dream of sitting alone reading with a flat white and a brownie in Newcastleâs hidden gem!!! But usually have my 3 girls in tow who love it so much! :)

What a lovely little cafe, with an old fashioned tea room atmosphere. All the lovely teapots and crockery that were on display really made it pretty. There is an excellent choice of food and drinks and you can eat inside or out on a little terrace. The panini's were just so delicious. It was perfectly clean and bright. Would highly recommend.

Even though we are regular visitors to Trentham Gardens this was our first visit here. We called in for lunch last weekend when the weather wasnât good enough for our normal picnic. It was busy but we did find a table outside. My daughter ordered oatcakes which she said were delicious. We had a club sandwich and chips - the sandwich was tasty but the chips could have been warmer.The bottle of red wine we ordered felt like it had been kept in the fridge, but they did agree to put in hot water to warm it up.Disappointing you donât get discount off food with your Trentham Gardens annual pass - we were told it was only off hot drinks.Hi SallyW2218 Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we value feedback from our guests. We do get busy in the hot weather due to the increase of visitors into the gardens, we're pleased you managed to find a table. I will pass on your comments regarding the chips to the kitchen team on site. We do offer 10% off hot drinks for annual pass holders at our tea room in the gardens, we offer 10% off food at our sister site - the tapas restaurant in the Shopping Village, you will find us at the top end in the newest part. One of the best places to eat a breakfast. Offers a number of choices and sizes but they do stop and change to dinner menu.Has ample parking, small nursery and a gift shop.Dinner menu has standard menu with sandwiches, baguettes and some hot food.The simple sausage, egg and chips was delicious.Has a specials board hung on the wall which is worth checking out.All in all good food and great staff.

A lovely friendly atmosphere , staff where amazing ! Food was delicious the beef medallions were mouth watering! Right next to the regent theatre great for before or after seeing a show ! Would definitely recommend five out of five.

Happened upon RAWR after my initial choice for brunch asked me 'What do you want?' in a less than helpful tone (a table and some food...yes it was you the quartercafe!). All's well that ends well to coin a phrase though. Beautiful scrambled eggs and bacon on sour dough toast with a cuppa served by politely charming people. An oasis in Hanley.

Having been to this bar/cafe many times following a very sad day whilst we laid our very dear relative to rest at the age of 47, we decided after the wake for a small part of the family to go for tea. We had been in Wolstanton for the funeral so I suggested the Shed as my workplace often use this place for social meets and meals for birthdays etc. What a mistake that was. The day had been very emotional and we were all just needing food and to chill out together. We arrived into the bar around 5 pm and ordered drinks to which the chef who claimed he was the manager asked us if we had been smoking weed???? Randomly especially as we are all in our 40s and my 70 year old parents were with us.As you can imagine this was embarrassing in front of customers already using the bar. Different members of the family approached him for his reason why he thought various people dressed in black in suits and carrying funeral order of service looked like a bunch of people whoâd been smoking weed..We had ordered drinks by this stage which we quickly finished and left we ate elsewhere, where we were very welcome and we will never return here.Absolutely shocking behaviour and service and we all have made sure to give all our friends the review which meets the emotional upset on the day that this person inflicted on us as a family. My father was very upset and runs a pub himself and would never speak to customers in this way.

A reservation is a must for this very deservedly popular place. My friends had organised this place for the afternoon tea and as always it never disappointed , the sandwiches were beautiful, the cakes were Devine , definitely would make a return visit and would definitely go for an afternoon tea again. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble

If you are looking for a bygone time with classic surroundings and great food with pleasant staff then this is the place to go.We thoroughly enjoyed our luxury afternoon tea. Everything was spot on and the food was of high quality and nicely presented. There was also plenty of it to enjoy or if you could not eat it all they provided boxes to take it away.The atmosphere was peaceful with a hint of an age now gone but fondly remembered.The staff knew how to treat their quests and made you feel comfortable and at home.We would certainly go back again and can recommend it if you like to be taken into a different decade in history.

My birthday afternoon was delicious, you really can't fault this unique little tearoom. On entering you don't know we're to look great decor on Alice in wonderland theme. Sandwiches are lovely & fresh a good selection of old favourites the scones are served warm & are amazing, sponge cakes beautiful & light great tasting loose leaf tea( choice of coffee ) service and staff are wonderful. What we couldn't eat they bagged up for us to enjoy at home. Myself my three Daughters & Granddaughter have had a lovely experience at this delightful tearoom. Not forgetting that they service a children's afternoon tea great idea. Will definitely return
