Craving some scrambled egg and toast I tried this little cafe. It's Asia...western breakfast is not something you can expect to find...nice enough to eat that is...but I have to say that their scrambled egg, beef bacon (surprisingly good), toast and orange juice went down well. It's clean, quick and cheap. Very friendly staff too.

Damascus Cafe is full of Arab food, shisha, fast food and western food. Come over and try our fresh juice which is the best in Langkawi! Our prices are crazy cheap! Don't believe? Come and try yourself!

Love the shawarma. We had the small one as a tested, end up ordered 4 big shawarma. Love the mango vanilla shake, is expensive rm18 big one, but worth it. Because we cant find any where else smoothies or shake at cenang area. Others are cheap but with flavor and syrup. So Worth every penny.

We came here for the dinner and ordered the crispy chicken salad and aglio olio with shrimps. It was all good, but my boyfriend wasnât full, so we ordered the chicken fingers as well. For the dessert we had a oreo cheesecake and it was also delicious. The stuff was really nice and kind! We would recommand it.

A coffee shop / restaurant / lounge with character, a great vibe, excellent music, great true coffees, perfect food (with a fusion twist) and a highly friendly staff. There is an outdoor seating with beach and sea views, cool couches and seats for reading a book or working. I visited Huggin Hippo for lunch, dinner, breakfast, coffee and drinks and felt home right away. In my opinion, the very nicest place I have come across during my 1 month trip in Malaysia. Highly recommended!

We came here based on a recommendation from a friend and it was an ok meal but nothing special. It is a nice setting and an ok menu in terms of choice - mainly pizza, pasta, salads and flambeâd tarts (which was really a pizza base with cream fraiche and a bit of cheese as the base instead of the pizza tomato base. It was ok but I canât write home about it. The food lacked seasoning and flavour

Great hostel, lovely staff and amazing food. Especially the smoothy bowl in the morning. The restaurant is a nice place to hang out. The building where the sleeping area is, is cool. Good facilities when it comes to showers and toilets. Would definitely recommend this place.

Not only is this a great place to eat, the toilets are beautiful. You will have to visit to see why. Really good Malaysian food. We had the curried prawns and chicken curry plus amazing marguitas. Service was outstanding, friendly and efficient. There is a warmth to this place, almost like dining in someoneâs home. We loved it and will return. Seek it out whilst in Langkawi. So relaxing and delicious. Canât wait to return.

Our second time there with more than a year in between. Still great as the first time. Delicious galettes (buckwheat crepes) and sweet crepes for dessert. And a good coffee. The space is really nice and it's a very relacing environment.
