This deli offers a lot of German imported foods at good prices. One example is the famous "Sauerkraut" just like mother used to make it in the old days. Then there are all the speciality sausages and other meat products that are not imported from Germany but made in the German tradition in Namibia where the Hartlief factory is located. There are also Bavarian beers but at the moment only alcohol free ones are available because the liquor licence hasn't been granted. Attached to the deli is a restaurant where a lot of the displayed meat products can be sampled. There are a few outside tables, most tables are inside. Service is friendly and efficient. This is an excellent value for money restaurant suitable for a quick bite which we will certainly frequent soon again.

30th April 2018.....Very tasty lunch at Running Rabbit Bistro, Eastcliff, Hermanus. Clare had the Spinach & feta pancake with mushroom sauce; I had the savoury mince pancake & cheese sauce & M had the bacon cheese & avo toasted sandwich - all of which were delicious! With great professional & friendly service from Rogers Well worth a visit for tasty food at reasonable prices & free wifi! Close proximityto Voelklip, Grotto & Kammabaai Beaches as well as Fernkloof and the footpath all along tye Hermanus Sea Front.

We went in for coffee on a wet Sunday morning and really liked the place. It is full of arty crafty things to look at/buy plus jams, biscuits etc. Took us ages to look all round and we ended up buying quite a few bits to take home as they were typically African but not tat and quite reasonable. We loved this little place (max about 20 people). An amazing selection of cakes. We fell for the French toast croissant with banana and bacon (it works!) and eggs benedict. No room for cakes but they all looked brilliant. Nice coffee, good service.

Great breakfast menu and very good coffee. I like this place for the food choices and the poached eggs are always perfect. Service wasnât up to the usual slick standard but adequate. Iâve been here a few times over the last 3-4 years and count it as one of the best breakfast venues in Hermanus.

Stopped here as we were passing through Hermanus and Iâm so glad we did what a find!! Best coffee Iâve had in ages and the cakes were delicious! The only minor point of feedback was that they didnât have any high chairs so baby had to sit on our lap!
