Discover Restaurants offering the best Cafe food in Gdynia, Pomerania Province, Poland. A small fishing village until the 20th century, Gdynia was rapidly built into Poland’s largest and busiest sea port after World War I. As a result, it’s mainly a very modern city. The most significant older attraction is the 13th-century St. Michael the Archangel Church. Two museum ships in the harbor, a destroyer and a frigate, are also popular with visitors. Gdynia has a thriving cultural life and in September hosts the annual Polish Film Festival, sometimes called the “Polish Cannes.”

I love to pop up morning time for nice breakfast with their home made granola&yoghurt b-fast or for absolutely amazing cakes with delicious coffee. Staff is very friendly and you can feel there very relaxed. Also been there few times with my friends and their kids - its nice that kids can play on playground and you can have a chat and enjoy your coffee with friends at same time. :))

This place will simply amaze all who prefer independent cafes to chain ones. The interior is a mixture of second hand furniture form different stages of the 20th century. Here you will find PRL style sofas and armchairs altogether with pre IIWW tables and cupboards. The big attraction of the place are books and board games spread around, which can be used by visitors. Or if you are not willing to read you may just relax with tea/coffee and a piece of homemade cake (different every day). Orders are taken at the bar, but when there aren't many quests, staff brings it to your table. Tea is served in big jars with cups. There is not a typical table setting, but all service is rather a collection of old fashioned, formerly domestic equipment, what adds even more cosiness to this place.Exterior is cosy and nice, too. There is a garden at the front where you are able to smoke (don't recommend it!) with some trees and bushes around. Unfortunately it is not easy to find the place if you aren't a local. As it is situated in the centre but behind the main track. The easiest way to go there is direct the City Theatre (Bema Street) then go left, turn up into the first street and walk along this street. Soon you will see a small board.I really recommend this place for it's atmosphere, vintage design and good tea.

Tasty food. Cabbage stew is to die for! Great interior but the most spectacular is the service. The lady who serves the food makes the whole atmosphere there. She is super nice and sweet. stopped by for a lovely cappucino and cognac and was pleasantly surprised at the eclectic style and furnishings, movie star framed photos cover every inch of wall space along with autograph graffitti (look out for Agnetha's own contribution - the A in Abba!). The coffee was very good and the owner a friendly and very nice chap to chat with.

We discovered this cafe whilst looking for lunch before taking the train to Hel. The decor is mix of hipster and old style. The waitress was very friendly and she spoke very good English. We had a soup and the two types of wraps with fish and meat. All were excellent and we also had piece of the apple cake. This place would not look out of place in Amsterdam or Copenhagen but in Gdynia it is a delight.

The English breakfast looks good to be fair but the club sandwich I ordered was very poor to be honest. :(Seems to me to be overpriced hype. I don't want to be unkind, but we won't be returning.

I need to admit that lunch option has attracted me to step in here. Soup was tasty but small. Size of main course was big but it was unfortunately cold! Quality of meat was extremely bad. Big pity as I would never go there again and on the other hand option of specjal lunch price is good.

We have been staying in Gdynia for a week for a family wedding and have been repeatedly drawn back to f.minga. I think we have visited 4 times in as many days?! The food is delicious, the mains are well portioned and good quality; the cakes are enormous and absolutely delicious. The starters are divine (highly recommend the prawns and the hummus dishes). The coffees are amazing (I love the cardamon coffee and the iced coffee) and the passion fruit beer is heavenly.
