Helen and Anita work so hard to make this place a success. Went for Sunday breakfast with a large group of friends and they cooked incredibly well with the changes and dietary requirements of everyone. Vegan, vegetarian no problem even 3 choices of sausages for vegetarians. If you are in town give it a go!

Having found this place on TripAdvisor we ended up breakfasting here every day on our recent Bournemouth stay. Simply excellent value for both meat and non-meat eaters, with good quality food and very friendly and efficient service. Seating is available both indoors and out. We shall look no further on future visits to the town.

Popped into the mad cucumber for an early dinner on Saturday and was not disappointed. The setting is nice and relaxed, the food delicious and service excellent. I went for the bean and quinoa chilli which was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and served with amazing sweet potato pieces. Had a chai latte as well which was really nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes good, tasty food (not just vegans and veggies)

A friend and I visited this coffee house recently. It was a lovely warm day so we sat outside on comfortable seating. The coffee was excellent and the service too, the staff were friendly and helpful.They also serve food in a very relaxed surrounding and on my next visit I hope to have the pleasure of trying out their food, and if it is as good as their cappuccino coffee then I am in for a treat. Well worth a visit.

I received a voucher for the restaurant for my birthday. I am dairy and gluten free. Normally I find going out for tea with anything GF/GF quite tasteless. This restaurant was amazing. The presentation of the tea so quaint, all proper vintage with china cups and sauces. I started on the scones, which were warm, light and fluffy and topped for the most gorgeous cream and jam. Beautiful cake and sandwiches, I could have been in the Ritz. Couldn't eat it all so was given the remainder in a bag to bring home.The lady serving us was so welcoming. Love all the vintage stuff and the lovely hats for pictures. The background music was so memorable. We visit Yobu on a regular basis for the amazing frozen yoghurt. The staff are always really friendly. I have not personally tried the bubble tea but my niece loves it!! If you have a reward card you can earn points for free food/drinks too.

Very appealing look to this cafe. Big wooden tables and floorboards- all very Bo-Ho! Man serving behind the counter really looks the part. Heâs very confident and gives a great service.The food was impressive. Dark, crusty baguettes filled with artichoke and other roasted veg, feta cheese and olives. A banana bread cake with walnuts was homemade and tasted incredible. With this we had coffee.Very glad dogs are welcome.Iâm looking forward to coming back soon.

Great food at great price. Service from the waitress/manager is friendly and exemplary. The cooking is always fresh with quality ingredients. I have eaten here many times now and my wife loves it too. The staff make you feel so welcome. Caters for all ages. I have eaten in most cafes in Boscombe and this is by far and away the best. Exceptional food at very reasonable price. I thoroughly recomend you try eating here.

Went here yesterday while in Winton . never stopped in Winston before, so everything here was new to me. Hadn't had breaky since leaving Bournemouth hotel so wanted a bite to eat and found this little spot by chance just by glancing down a road. All the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming, seemed to know their local crowd well as they were chatting with everyone. I had the big breakfast and it was really nice, filled me up for the rest of the day ! Have to say that the quality of the ingredients as well was excellent - the bacon and sausages especially were beautiful. For what they charge considering that you're getting such good quality food is really good - could be charging more in my opinion.I visit Bournemouth quite a bit for shows each year and I'll definitely stop in Winton again and pop by this cafe for something to eat once more.Thanks to all the staff & keep up all your good work !
