Family-friendly horseback riding, riding lessons and therapeutic riding. Bringing a bit of the old west right here to West Michigan, since 1949.

We have been doing an annual ride for four years now and it is a great experience that my kids (two 9 year old girls) always look forward too. It is the highlight of our vacation. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Nancy let my girls come back another day to help groom a horse and just hang out with the horses- this was wonderful! Thank you Rainbow Ranch!!

Little Sable Point Lighthouse

Reviewed By theoljohnnyboy - New Florence, United States

Stopped for a second time after a brief stop 5 years ago. A lighthouse that looks like it belongs at OBX rather than the great lakes, it is really a pretty structure. The beach seems to be shrinking and parking is limited. There were no gate attendants the day that we went and there was no box to deposit an entrance fee. Watch your speed on the tiny twisty roads going back in, there are joggers and big rigs on what can be a 1.5 lane road.

Tours are available to see the processing plant and cows and calves. In addition we have an onsite restaurant offering a wide variety of grilled Paninis, wraps, salads, and burgers. And you can top it off with our fresh ice cream in our ice cream parlor.

A working dairy farm where you can have an amazing lunch, buy their fresh milk, cheese and ice cream as well as take a tour of the Farm. Good for children. We enjoyed our visit very much. The Fox Barn Winery

Reviewed By GMaSusieq - New Haven, United States

Recently returned from weekend trip to Michigan with group of 6 nurse friends who have known each other for more than 40 years. We spent the afternoon @ Fox Barn Winery. Wine tasting was $3 for 3 tastes & most of us left with @ least one bottle of our favorites. We sat out on their beautiful deck with view of the vineyard & wooded hills on a beautiful slightly breezy September summery day. As we solved the world's problems, we shared their cheeses, meat, pickled asparagus, cream cheese/jellies, & cracker snacking tray & of course, some great wine slushies. Most of us purchased some spreads, jellies, or pickled asparagus in their cute gift shop before we left. We learned that this area of Michigan is the asparagus capital of the world...who knew?

It had been years since our last visit. We had a bit of a reunion with some of our family and we were not disappointed. We’ve enjoyed this Park for decades. Cherry Point Farm and Market

Cherry Point Farm is one of the oldest operating farms in Oceana County, Michigan. The first orchards were planted in 1871. The Bull Family has been operating the farm since 1949 and have added a fruit market, bakery, gift shop and Lavender Labyrinth surrounding an herb garden. We offer fish boils, lumberjack breakfasts, high tea and more (reservations required for all). Open daily from April through October. Our Lavender Labyrinth and Herb Garden are free to walk during daylight hours when we are open.

This is a great little stop to make along the scenic drive of B15 (Buchanan Rd). The shop has delicious cherry treats to offer (the cherry strudel is excellent/our recommendation!) as well as an assortment of gift items and apparel. There was fresh produce out front as well for sale. We walked around the garden a bit as well, which was lovely.
