You will have the opportunity to walk amongst a mob of kangaroos, escorted safely by your guide. During December 2019 and January 2020 two half hour tours are run EVERY day at 5pm and 5:30pm. This is a beautiful community art centre where one is spoilt for choice. Great selection of art works and various mediums from paintings, sculpture, pottery, mosaics, jewellery, crochet, seeing and glass work to name a few. Prices very reasonable for quality art works. Pleasantly surprised. The gardens surrounding and cafe looked lovely to had I more time. Purchased a gorgeous pottery lighthouse by artist Roger Rigby.

Our family all loved our trip to the Splash Waterpark though it was much harder work than we expected! The staff were excellent - generous with their time and advice and very friendly. The hour went very quickly It is good for all ages - people find different things to do based on their climbing ability and balance.

Probably one of the best spots in the area: the beach is sheltered, clean, surrounded by a large grassy area with tables and toilets/showers. On one side the "pelican area", on the other a kids' playground (plus a seafood restaurant for the adults). We spotted dolphins at about 20 metres from the beach, magical. There's a little shop selling fish and chips, burgers and ice cream. Otherwise you can walk up the hill and be at the lighthouse with its cafes.

The title pretty much says it all. The marina area in the afternoon for sunset with the family is beautiful, it has a great family vibe plenty of cafes and restaurants, the marina pub is the best place for a few sundowners , it’s family friendly and the food is great, the staff don’t come any friendlier, you can find a great crepe van right at the end of the marina.
