The Glide Surf School, hire and shop was established in 2007 and has been the lead in pioneering the unique surf scene here in the quaint seaside town of Cromer in Norfolk. We are situated on the East Promenade to the right hand side of the pier, with lessons and hire taking place directly in front of our school, surf hire, changing rooms and shop. Cromer Pier, a heritage seaside pier in the civil parish of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast was designed by Douglass and Arnott and constructed by Alfred Thorne and is owned by North Norfolk District Council. The Pier is 151 metres (495 ft.) in length and was officially opened on 8 June 1901. Awarded Pier Of The Year in 2015 by The National Piers Society. The Pavilion Theatre at the end of the pier is one of only five UK end of pier theatres and is home to The Cromer Pier Show, the only end of pier show of its kind in the world. We are famous for crab fishing with the very best spot in Norfolk for the big catch, it’s a great way to relax and connect with nature for all the family. Our shop in CROMER near Norwich in North Norfolk is visited by customers from around the country and has one of the largest ranges of crystals and fossils in England. We specialise in supplying unique and unusual gifts, raw crystal specimens and crystal jewellery anlong with polished stones from simple tumble stones to spheres oblisks gem stone eggs and crystal hearts. This is an active RNLI lifeboat station that is free to visit, but open to the public and donations can be made. From the large viewing gallery you can see a Tamar class lifeboat close too, unfortunately unless it is an open day (about 2 a year) or lifeboat day (22nd July 2018) you cannot get onboard. In the next few months we hope to improve the facilities and offer visitors an insight of the boat via pictures and videos.

We have a new Coffee shop and cafe on site which sells fresh coffee and freshly made food. Also we have a vending machine for cold drinks and snacks. There is a heated indoor viewing area for those cold days and a upstairs decked area for the summer days. We do Practice Sessions, Grand Prix,Stag and Hen Events,Private Track Hire and Youth Club.

The Parish Church was built in the 15th Century and was extensively restored in the late 19th Century. Today, it's home to a large congregation with friendly, relaxed and contemporary services in a variety of styles. Visitors are welcome at all services. The building is open every day from about 9.00 a.m. until about 5.00 p.m. There is no charge and you are welcome to enjoy the building and to use it as a place of peace, quiet and prayer.
