I visited Kalna for examination and luckily got visit to 108 shiv temple what a beautiful place. There is number on each temple and also there Krishna temple which is work in progress.

Large variety of migratory birds. Mr. Jayanta Haldar (M: 9734465974) helped us in arranging the boat rides both in the afternoon and the next day early morning. Has vast knowledge of the birds & a sharp pair of eyes to spot them. Highly recommended.

Some 4.2 km from malandighi main road on a mud road, this place is serene, beautiful and with a decent history. It's amidst the greenery of Ghar jungle. A quiet get-away from the busy Durgapur town to something more peaceful. There are a few temples and picnic facility (water, toilets). There are no shops once you leave the main road. Ample parking facility. Please avoid it during monsoon. During Durga Puja, you might not find the place as serene, as lots of people pay visit to this place.

It's one of the main hangout spots of Asansol. It is well connected to the other parts of the town and communication is not at all a problem. The mall is a bit crowded.
