Been here twice within the last month for a Sunday carvery and I will definitely make this a regular Sunday afternoon treat. The food for me is delicious, lovely meat, lovely big stuffing balls, lovely roasties, the lady cutting the meat is very nice and friendly and will remember me for my 20 roasties that I had I hope this place continues to do well as its the perfect location in the beach front to have a drink before and after food. Only teething problem is slow at bar getting served for drinks. See you soon Kevin Jones..

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater b
Great service, friendly staff, steak leaves a lot to be desired. Had the 12 oz fillet, medium, came back v well done, and quite gristly. No complaints on the 8 oz sirloin, maybe that's easier to cook. Wasnt very busy either, so the chef should have more time to get the steak right.

Bar Gallois is just a few metres from the wonderful Aberavon beach. Our passion is for fresh, seasonal food made with carefully selected local ingredients in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Our recently refurbished restaurant is a great place to relax
The Sunday lunch was lovely when it arrived. It took a while to come people who ordered after us had their food before us. We wanted dessert so asked the waitress for a menu she said she would get someone to bring it over. Eventually someone came. The waitress just seemed rude towards us. We was paying so everyone should be treated the same. We had our dessert, paid and left quickly. Wonât be returning.Hi Ruth G.. thanks for your review. I can only apologise that your experience with us was below average as we pride ourselves in excellent customer service. We have put in extensive training after receiving your feedback to ensure our customer service is to the highest standard. Once again thanks for your feedback, as this helps us grow as a company. This is a classic workman's cafe on an industrial estate. The diners mostly appear to be regulars but everyone seems to get a warm welcome. Service is quick and the large breakfast is just that.. Well cooked and very enjoyable. The black pudding was cooked to perfection. There is plenty of free parking. A good place to know

I visited for meal with my wife last Saturday and had a lovely meal, good size Rib Eye steak which was cooked to exactly the way i wanted, the prices of meals are very reasonable. When we first got in we were welcomed by a lovely barmaid who was very welcoming and instantly made you feel welcome, good price on Beer as well. The only reason i gave 4 stars was the wait for our table, we booked for 6.30pm but did not get seated until gone 7.00pm. The restaurant is small and cosy at the back of the pub which is really nice. This was my first visit and will not be my last, overall a great pub and lovely staff. I feel awful for knocking a point off for the wait as we had a lovely time

Fish and chips always taste better by the sea, and Franco's fish bar has been at the heart of Aberavon sea front since 1970. We've grown over the years, out of the original tiny shed to a bigger takeaway and not we have a fantastic custom built premises.
Went to Francos today with the family. Eight of us altogether. We were seated at adjacent tables which was fine, although not perfect. Our food was absolutely beautiful all the fish was cooked to perfection and the calimari and beef pie were amazing. All at a reasonable price too. Special thanks to our cheery waitress Neve for making the experience all the better.

Visited on Monday evening, 4 of us had lovely meals as always, very good portions. My daughter was the only one to have dessert the rest of us had no room, and went for the Nutella cheesecake which was delicious. Staff very friendly, food served in good time, hubby likes hot curry and the chef made it hotter for him. The colliers gets better and better, highly recommend.

Called into The Brit for Sunday lunch on the off chance they had space. Although reluctant to seat us at first they allowed us to have a table in the bar area. Even though the place wasnât packed, you could tell that they were concerned about being able to cater for us. I understand the reason for this, is that you need to ensure you have enough food to cater for the rest of customers already booked in for the service but I did feel unwelcome. I donât think this was intentional, I could just tell from the facial expressions and body language of the lady that was in charge of front of house; perhaps she was somewhat stressed. The food was alright, the portions for my partner wasnât enough; not enough meat and potatoes but I let him have all the veg so he had plenty in the end. What I had was plenty for me but wouldâve been nice to have had another roastie or two. Perhaps too many walk-ins allowed so not many potatoes to go around? Who knows! Thanks for seating us but I donât think Iâd return for Sunday dinner again. Just wasnât for me. Well done with what you have done to the place and all the best for the future! Our sincerest apologies, we pride ourselves on great service. Iâm so disappointed that you feel you did not get this. Everyone is trained to check every table and question if any more is required. I can only apologise this didnât happen on this occasion. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review
