It was my first visit to the Cova restaurant though my companions were fairly regular customers. It was very busy when we arrived but we didn't have too long to wait before we were shown to a table where our order was taken and delivered promptly.. We all enjoyed the food. Though under pressure the staff were attentive and helpful.

First visit at the kittoch with my wife and granddaughter today, although it was a busy day and very warm the staff where attentive and always smiling.My food arrived hot and was delicious.I would like say a thank you to the young lady alexis who made our visit even better she was a very polite young lady.Thank you for the lovely visit we hope to be back soon.Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. Booked table, and on entering shown to table and drinks order taken and arrived quickly.Menu choices were excellent, both starters first class, and for mains, I had the mixed grill, and everything perfect, and included a peppercorn sauce, wife and a chicken dish and again perfect.Service first class very friendly young female served us all night.Would recommend nice place to have meal, would book if going week-end.

An excellent restaurant to add to East Kilbride giving a bit more variety. It's true what people say... Absolute huge portions! Excellent customer service - friendly, polite and welcoming! Lovely newly decorated and refurbished venue including the gardens outside, perfect spot. With so much on the menu to offer... I can't recommend it enough!

We have visited here on a couple of occasions because the food (particularly the breakfasts) have been lovely but every time we have been we leave saying the same thing âthey need staff trainingâ We are just told âthatâs your seat thereâ no showing you to your table and being introduced to the waitress and given the menus and drinks order taken... no, you head to your table, wait about 10minutes for someone to bring the menus, then someone else comes and takes your drink order 10 minutes after that. Then someone else brings it, then again your waiting another 10 minutes and someone finally comes and takes your order. Its just not flowing enough. Weâve often found ourselves looking around trying to catch the eye of someone to come to our table as it seems they have forgotten about you. Sometimes even people that have came in after us have had their food order taken before us. Itâs a bit of a shambles really.Also the few times we have been there we waited so long for our bill that we ended up paying it at the counter which means we havenât even saw our food receipt.A lovely wee place but please concentrate on service. Also a smile from the waitresses wouldnât go amiss.

Very busy- a good sign. Large area with TV, kids toys and everything a bar needs for the family. Of note is an extensive menu and super food served in plentiful plates and quickly. Good vegetarian and vegan menus. Staff are smiley and engaging. A good place to eat at any time of day. 7 of us who meet regularly for lunch, this restaurant was suggested as a good Location.It turned out to be great. Friendly welcome as we all arrived, drinks order taken and menus delivered and the specials explained.The place is nicely set out, simple with a quiet family atmosphere.After ordering our food, the starters followed quickly, the Smoked Haddock Risotto with a poached egg on top was fabulous.My main of a Cod Steak on a bed of Chorizo and Kale Mash was excellent.We all enjoyed our selections and finished off with coffees.Two courses, coffees and soft drinks reasonable at £20.00.This place is a hidden gem, a bit out of the was but well worth a visit.We will be back.

Staff were charming and decor is outstanding. Toilet is nice and tidy. Menu is varied with excellent deals. I had the salt and chicken with hoisin sauce which was sensational. Next I had the sea bass which was probably one of the best sea bases I have ever had. Family and friends said it was 5 star food and experience as well. Overall, I extremely recommend this place and definitely will be going again.
