If not for anything else, you should try this buffet (either per quilo or all-you-can-eat) for different meat, like rabbit, goose and mutton. Look for the mushrooms too. Unlike some of the reviewers here, I found some dishes really well done while others completely unremarkable, but again this is a bufffet... and as a buffet this place excels, with nice food for a decent price. Dessert is simple (also per quilo), try the pudding. Price a bit over R$ 40 per quilo.

Ãtima opção de almoço em Canela. Perto da Catedral de Pedra e de outros pontos turÃsticos. Ambiente acolhedor, bom atendimento e preço justo. Só achei a variedade bem pouca, mas no mais, gostei bastante.

Went there to have an afternoon coffee and dessert with the family. Ended up just having coffee. The coffee is good but nothing to kill for. Ended up not buying any dessert as the portions in general are huge and thus expensive, and our daughter tried the ice cream and did not like it at all.Hello Helen, I would first like to thank you for taking the time and write this review , I apologize for writing my English should be with mistakes, but I think it's intended response. As for his story , I'm glad you enjoyed our coffee , and really most of our desserts are larger and can be divided into two or three people , but I note that we also have smaller desserts, maybe there was a lack of communication of our part to inform you these options. on the nice and calm place upstairs they serve that tasty three course fondue. The service is right caring about your conveniance, without asking they come and ask, if they can bring you more. We took advantage of having the vegetables (first course) with the hot cheese, then being served 14 diferent sauces and little side dishes among a big plate with six diferent sorts of meet, round six peaces of each kind (second course) finishing with six bowles of different fruits and two hot pots of chocolate.Since it was such a wonderful experience we did it again the next day.Locals recomended that place to us and now we do it for you:Highly recomended

We had two different soups served in the bread as well as a stroganoff served in the bread. All were very nice tasting, fair prized and well served. Service was very good as well.

We were tired and hungry and looked for tips at Trip Advisor to find a good place to have a late lunch. When we finally decided to stop at Sante Bistro, was a lovely surprise. We ordered "polenta frita recheada com queijo" for entry, and then two wonderful pastas.We are going back there for a next time, for sure!
