I made reservations in person for a weeks stay two days prior, We arrived at 1845, no one around, door open for all to enter. Tried to call number and no answer, my Lao wife and I waited over an hour...finally went to another hotel. Too bad, cause the bungalows looked nice and we were looking forward to our stay, what happened?

Reviewed By ahn33tarlocation was not bad but was kind of down an alley. room very clean and spacious does not have a lift and we were located on level 4 got very hot there was air con but not strong enough. also the bathroom is a sliding glass door with a curtain love the breakfast at the cafe downstairs that was an added bonus staff very helpful help us with our luggage and when it was raining lend us some umbrellas.

Reviewed By poupees928Thank you all the Nam Pien Team welcoming us specially DAO, our kids spent a magical time just 1.30 minutes from Vientiane. The room was clean and the a lots of choice for foods. We bring the meats for barbecue and bbq set was provided for the bbq. We come back for sure.

Reviewed By TPGilly12This is an older style Laosasian hotel, well maintained. The staff is extremely attentive and kind. The design has an eating deck that overlooks the pool. The food is good and reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious and very in styles. Many rooms look right at the pool area which has lovely balconies with seating. This place is very quaint and people are well treated.

Reviewed By 275MichaelGGot my room here quite happy with it there is no TV but that's fine with me it's shared bathrooms as well which is okay not up my alley but it's okay and they're very clean the room is fairly comfortable the beds are a little hard but I don't mind that either is a very nice location I have a temple on each side of the hotel seems to be very safe here so far and not very noisy comes with a decent breakfast I was happy with it this is a budget hotel more like a Backpackers kind of place but it's quite acceptable

The rooms are small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean,. The staff are friendly and helpful and they provide a decent breakfast with good coffee. Highly recommended.

THEFT IN THE ROOM - HOTEL TO BAN
Reviewed By Benbenben3TO BE AVOIDED! They stole a box with all my electronics from the room. They refuse to watch the security camera (one was facing the room) and just hang up on me on the phone. They believe people are leaving the country or at least the city at check out and take the opportunity to steal! So don’t be careful, just don’t go there and split at their faces! I made a police complaint and now we’ll see how they will react!

An ordinary hotel
Reviewed By Sandra MThis hotel is in a nice location on the Mekong with many outdoor restaurants and bars within walking distance. The sights are also within walking distance but for some, could be a bit far. A tuk tuk is a good alternative. The hotel itself was a big disappointment and did not live up to what we would have expected in the capital city. We had better accommodations in rual Laos. The breakfast was very disappointing. The coffee was instant, which is surprising seeing as Laos is known for its excellent coffee. The choice was very limited. There was one small plate of fruit. The bread choice was a thin slice of white bread (like Wonderbread). The receptionists were couteous but they were unable to answer basic questions.
