Reviewed By 522lisatyeWe had the best time staying with Mazin at Noovilu Suites. Noovilu means blue lagoon and there are lots of those right near by. The ocean activities were magical. One of the best places in the world for diving. Mazin is a host who truly wants you to leave loving his island as much as he does. He really cares that you would want to return. I very highly recommend Noovilu.

Reviewed By iset_87We booked directly with the guest house the accommodation, meals and diving package. They organised the transport from the airport as well which is was great. Our suitcases were lost on arrival but they helped us a lot to make sure we could get everything we needed to enjoy our holidays which it is not easy in an island that has limited shops. Thanks to them our suitcases were finally delivered to the guest house. The room had everything we needed

Boutique Beach is designed, built and run by Romney Drury, a British diver, who loved this area so much, she gave up her job in the UK to be able to offer divers a wonderful experience for a much more economical price than previously possible in resort diving. The hotel offers 6 spacious, private rooms, 1 main restaurant and 1 roof top restaurant along with a very own Diving center with NITROX and whole range of excursions and opportunities to enjoy the natural Maldivian environment. Boutique Beach is located on Dhigurah which is in the famous whale shark area in the south Ari Atoll. The British Whale Shark conservation group, who are also based on Dhigurah, have recorded 268 whale sharks in our area, of which only 8 are female. Average length is 5.92m which makes them "teenagers." The whale sharks are there all year around, but some weather conditions makes them harder to spot. Mantas regularly feed in our lagoon as well as the famous cleaning station at Rangali which within easy reach. There are 15 deep reefs or Thilas in between Dhigurah and the next island. The famous Kudarah Thila is just 10 minutes away. Our PADI Dive Team will be happy to show you the best diving in the Maldives. We have a PADI instructor and a dive guide available on board together with a speedboat for smaller groups and further dive destinations. Our Dive center is the only place on the island where we have NITROX available.

Reviewed By D5938HVjustinlMy wife and I went to Maldives a few weeks ago for our Honeymoon and stayed at Boutique Beach All Inclusive Dive hotel. This place is awesome and perfectly caters to divers. As other reviews suggest, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were small compared to other resorts, but very well maintained. It almost felt like a small apartment, but fully furnished with dining area on the first floor. All meals are prepared for the guests and lunch is prepared for the boat if dive schedule doesn’t allow a return back to hotel for lunch. All gears are handled by the staff from the time you check in until you check out. Gears are setup for you in the boat each day and rinsed/dried by your checkout date. The dive boat is very big and you can spread out comfortably without having to sit too close to other. The dive sites are picked out the day before and divers are briefed the night before. The staff also puts together a video from the clips gathered from each divers during the dives, which is a nice treat. The rooms seem a little small at first, but you only use it to sleep after a full day of dives so a non issue. The restroom has no ceiling and opens up for you to see the clouds. The setup is really nice except for the mosquitoes that will prey on you during your stay. The island (Dhigurah) the hotel I son is one of the farthest from Male so it’s an extra long trip, but well worth it. The cost is reasonable and the dive sites around the island are amazing. We were fortunate enough to see multiple whale sharks, manata rays, along with other marine life we don’t’ get to see back home (Los Angeles). Lastly, I can’t say enough great things about the entire staff. Every single staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and memerable. Special thanks for Seb (instructor) for making all the dives enjoyable, Saeed (Dining Staff) for always greeting us with smile and fresh juice at every meal, and Shoag (Boat Hand), who’s playful gestures made our boat rides more enjoyable.

Located only a few meters from the 3 km long beach, it takes no more than 3 minutes to get to the bikini part of the beach where you can swim, relax, and take in the gorgeous view. There are several spots on the island where the coral is very nice - we saw many turtles and fish. One of the main things the island is famous for are whale shark excursions, but sadly we didn't see one. Instead, we did some snorkeling. A must-see is the island's long sandbank where our family spent the afternoons. The hotel has an amazing rooftop restaurant with great food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall, it is the perfect place to travel to as you won't ever forget about it.

As always, a high level of service, delicious food (the best Mas Huni for breakfast and lobster for dinner - you have to try it yourself), unforgettable trips (swimming with a manta and a whale shark is a must see and of course a sandbank). Reviewed By 565evgeniiiThis was our first time in the Maldives and we wanted to keep accommodation costs on a budget, so we could spend more on activities and try out new experiences. After a bit of research, we found Banyan Villa with quite convincing reviews and decided to contact them directly to make the arrangements. They replied to us quite swiftly and could consult on the most important questions before the journey, so we felt secured and informed from the beginning on. After arriving to Male airport and nearly 2 hours trip on a speed boat (which was actually quite bumpy, so be prepared), we finally came to the Dhangethi island. We were picked up on a pier by a hotel manager who organized a transfer of our luggage to the guesthouse and showed us the main parts of the island while walking to it. After a few formalities and a detailed explanation where to find what on the island we got the keys and could check in in our garden view room. It turned out to be commodious, clean and had all necessary things in it except for a safe, but the manager assured us that it's not necessary and there is a surveillance system outside of the rooms, so that was fine for us. Also later on we noticed that there is no soap provided for general hygiene purposes, but we could get an extra bottle of shower gel instead.? After that we had a meal in the villa, nicely prepared and pretty delicious. It tastes more like a homemade dish rather then a usual hotel-like food, but we actually appreciated it even more because of this. You can really taste local food there. In the coming days we had different types, usually fish and everything was tasty and prepared with love. A big thank you to the cook there! Btw a small tip: ask the guys to prepare you a maldivian breakfast, it's amazing. I wish we did this earlier and not only on the last days. And another tip: try out night fishing, it's not only fun to do so, but also guys will grill you the fish you catch on coconut shells, that's really something to try out. So we left our belongings in the room, picked beach towels provided to us and headed to a beach. It's good to mention that there are 2 types of beaches: touristic one also known as a bikini beach and a local one where you should be covered (i.e. it's not allowed to wear close where one could see a swimming suit underneath). The bikini beach is public for all tourists staying on the island, but it's not very occupied, there were around 15 people tops at the same time. You can find wooden sunbeds there if needed. Sand there is trully white, water is clean, warm and looks amazing, like on the pictures. The only downside is that it's pretty fleet, no more than 60 cm at the deepest point.. but that seems to be normal for Maldives. We found a deeper spot in 10 minutes walking/swimming distance in direction to the local beach far end. Aside from that, we tried out many different activities: snorkeling, diving, fishing and so on. The underwater world on Maldives is terrific and magnificent. It's fun to watch different kinds of fish, turtles, mantas on a close distance and swim with them. Definitive recommendation. Also many thanks here for the villa manager Husnee (hope I spelled the name right), who was very supportive, optimistic and enthusiastic. He showed us so many cool places, guided us in many snorkeling sessions and was easy going and always ready and happy to help. We appreciated it very much. The vacation went too quickly, but we carry on a lot of good memories from it. And the hotel stuff made it went by easy and positive, so a definitive recommendation from our side, we'd come by again with pleasure. P.S. at the time of writing, it was mandatory to have PCR test results upon departure required by maldivian government, so it could be arranged by the stuff at the villa for a fare price and you don't need to go somewhere else to do so. A small, but convenient thing.

The guest house "Kuri", has a laid-back feeling with a cozy, secluded patio, comfortable hammocks in the shadows of the palm trees and lounge chairs for sunbathing - and the beach just less than a minute's walk away. The guest house kitchen offers local and European cuisine in the outdoor dining area. As in most of the Eastern countries, friendly relation and good welcome are more valued than signed papers and stamped documents. And most important, perhaps, is a mutual respect for each other. Respectfully, we ask you, too dear, guests, to follow and respect those traditions, which historically hold by Maldivians. On residential islands cannot drink alcohol, and for the ladies being on the public areas as well when sunbathing and swimming, shoulder and hips need to be covered. These rules, of course, do not belong to the nearby uninhabited islands, where guests are free to relax as they want. Except that, we ask you not to forget about the cleanliness of the unique nature of the area and not to destroy it, leaving the garbage. There are 4 comfortable rooms, each with private bathroom and WC facilities, AC, ceiling fen and mini-fridge, a spacious common lounge area with library, comfortable sofas and Wireless Internet connection. The "Kuri Inn" guest house is situated in the picturesque fishing village of Omadhoo in the heart of Ari Atoll, a clean and friendly local island. In contrast to the major resorts, on Omadhoo you have the opportunity to experience the real Maldives island life and traditions. General Information The island is about 3 sq. kilometers with under 1000 residents. Maldivians are reluctant to leave the territory of its atolls, so islands like Omadhoo have fully preserved the ancient way of life and traditions of its nation, carefully passed down from generation to generation. The house reef surrounding the island is pure and innocent with great live corals and amazing marine life, perfect for s norkeling and scuba diving. The island's southwest beach side ends with an extraordinary, beautiful sand narrow. Almost 60 % of the island is covered with tropical vegetation such as breadfruit and coconut palms. The western part of the island could be called a real 'jungle' due to a rich abundance of large, banyan trees and tropical palms.

Reviewed By EszterV98We spent 3 days in Omadhoo in 2020 January. This is a really nice island with a huge and really nice turist beach. When we arrived with the public ferry the guys from Kuri Inn already waiting for us in the port. We got a cozy room, Wifi was great. The breakfast was amazing, I loved the maldivian mixed tuna-coconut thing. The all staff was really kind. The dinner is a little bit expensive but worth it. When we checked out we paid in cash. After few days there was some problem and the agoda made the payment in our bank account also. So finally we paid twice. We wrote the guys and they were so kind to send the money back to us.
