Reviewed By JeSakamotoThis hotel is very simple although renovated. The location is very good, close to metro stations and nice places to eat and bars. My only problem really was the shower with a small window and no water pressure. Also, we did ask for wake-up call at the reception during check-in, but they forgot.

Staff is nice and the breakfast has a good variety of fruit, break and cake. I would definitely come back.

Reviewed By Shirlei CIt's a good cost-benefit, if you have some meeting nearby. Rooms are functional, breakfast is fine. The hotel reception is not great. I didn't ask for, but I think there is no parking. There is a small shopping center, pizzeria, supermarket, bakery and another conveniences.

Good quality room for price but…

The check in experience by a lovely young man was good, he tried hard to communicate with me in English and did well so a big thanks to him. My room was good quality and spacious. Plenty of storage space and refrigerator. Toiletries provided with good shower. Hotel location is around 15 minutes walk from Batman alley. My biggest letdown was the sound proofing or lack of. You could clearly hear conversations going on in the next room also what was on their tv’s. Customers were slamming room doors at 2-3am and it just echoed loudly all the way through. My sleep was broken and I woke up unrefreshed. I understand the hotel can’t necessarily have control over disrespectful guests once they pass reception however much better sound proofing is needed between rooms.

Great hotel at a not safe place.
Reviewed By Fábio Ricardo dDon't worry about the "walking dead" people at the neighborhood. If you want to leave the hotel, specially at night, take a Uber or taxi and be safe. Keep your wallet and cell phone secure, never bring into back pocket of your jeans or trousers.

Almost quaint but not quite
Reviewed By ireland_timothyI chose this pousada precisely to get away from the usual modern hotels which are more or less the same. I wanted somewhere with a little more character. The entry to the pousada creates a pleasant impression and the reception is attractive. My room was on the third floor and there are no lifts. This information should be included in the site. The room was a bit on the small size as was the bed but in reality it was all adequate. The wifi worked fine and the bathroom was functional although the water in the shower took a long time to heat up. One item all hotels and pousadas should be obliged to provide are non-slip mats in the shower. Breakfast was surprisingly good with fresh fruit and the usual ham and cheese.
