Reviewed By doring56The hotel hasn't seen much maintenance since its renovation/opening more than 10 years ago perhaps. The furniture and room decors are dated, as well as the bathroom appliances that need to be changed asap. The walls and the carpet were not very clean either. On the plus side, we enjoyed the large and diverse spa facilities, but then again some areas of the spa need to be renovated or at least thoroughly cleaned of mold. The breakfast was varied and quite tasteful and the staff was polite. The prices are a bit too high for the room standards that the hotel offers.

We were initially staying at another place in town that turned out plain dirty and poorly staffed, so we decided to move. That was probably the best decision we made during the whole weekend. The girls at the reception were nice and helpful, and Andreea was particularly fun to talk to. The room was large and very clean, and the location was pretty good (easy to get anywhere in town). All in all, great value for the money.

On one hand there is no great location and the entrance to the hotel makes you seem to regret your decision. However once inside the courtyard, there is a very great garden, nicely arranged and calm compared to the noise on the street. The hotel building also full of contrasts. There is a lovely quality wood old style furniture but that is contrasting the type of building and the painting on the walls. You can see that a big effort was invested in details but they do not quite fit together style of furniture, wall paintings, building type, location.

not bad, but would never be my first choice
Reviewed By Răzvan MIt's located in a neighbourhood of houses and at night you can hear dogs barking which reminded me of my summer vacations at my grandma's in the countryside. I arrived after 11:30pm and the front door was locked, but the receptionist came to open it. The rooms was very large and the bed big as well. I slept gret, that's what I can say. The bathroom has a bathtub that does the job. The breakfast was 20 lei but they just asked me what I wanted as supposedly thay day they weren't able to do the standard buffet. I asked for an omelette with chesse and tomatoes + a cup of tea + bread. Don't really recommend it if better options are in your budget, but it's safe, that's for sure.

Via inquiry at a Fuel station I got directed to "Riviera". Safe parking, Wifi, Breakfast, and a Clean room. Just what I needed. Beware though: the second coffee at breakfast is payable. Next time I pass through R.V. I know where to go.
