Best seafood ever

We stopped at the Paternoster hotel on the our way up the West Coast for a quick lunch. Being from the Sunshine Coast , Australia we are used to good seafood. My partner had mussel soup and me the prawns. I have no hesitation to say it was the best prawn I have EVER HAD ANYWHERE. Lovely staff and great atmosphere too!

What an absolute delight to stay here, from the friendly reception to the delicious breakfasts, we savoured every moment. The property is right on the beach and starting each morning with a coffee taking in the panaramic vista was a highlight. The decor is an authentic collection of pieces that really makes the experience special. We also loved the generously sized bathroom.

Set against the panoramic seascapes of the West Coast, Paternoster Manor nestles in Bek Bay, a picturesque cove within the stretch of coastline between Great Paternoster Point and Cape Columbine. It’s an exciting place for travellers. Whether you choose to stay in one of our stately superior rooms, relax in our luxurious family suite, or bask in the warmth of our double room, you are assured of a refuge where opulent comfort is blended with care that is attentive yet unobtrusive.

Really enjoyed our stay

Reviewed By LYSANDERMuenchen

Very nice "boutique hotel" accomodation. Spacious Room - Suite with Seaview No.9 - with balcony and seaview, all amenities/facilities, fridge, safe etc. Nice atmosphere & interieur. Hadn´t any food there, service was attentive & friendly. Parking in front of the hotel, free of charge. It´s a 5-10 minute walk to the beach near "die Gaatje" Restaurant, then another 10-15 minutes to "Voorstrand Restaurant" down at the beachfront. All in all we had a perfect afternoon in lovely Paternoster which has a fantastic atmosphere indeed - kind of "little Netherlands". End of April = end of season, very nice, not so many people.
