A Nice Regional Inn
Reviewed By igneous1We had a pleasant stay at Auning Kro. I was able to easily split the double bed into separate twins. I think it must be a dog friendly place as I met a nice dog there after hearing barking in the halls. The service is limited by a lack of staff. We were treated well when we could catch someone. There is a nice, well-lit dining room (with limited kitchen hours), and more to my liking, a smaller, dark bar room where I struck up a conversation with a friendly Dane. The location is quite central, across from the library. This can mean steady, low traffic noise in the morning (mostly a lot of swishing sounds). A nice bakery is a very short walk away. Our room had a strong WiFi signal, and the radiators were effective in keeping the room warm when needed.

Pakhuset Anholt drives med hjerte for Anholt af Anja og Klaus. De er et energisk par der varetager mange funktioner på Anholt, fælles er at de elsker Øen, Deres arbejde og hinanden. Klaus har rødderne dybt plantet i Anholts jord idet hans slægt på Øen går mange hundrede år tilbage. Pakhuset Anholt ligger på absolut første parket helt ud til kajkanten. 100 mtr fra færgen og 200 mtr fra stranden. Udsigten er storslået med hav, strand og havn i front. På bagsiden er udsigten mod Nordbjerg og den smukke natur. Pakhuset Anholt er gennem renoveret med nye værelser, badeværelser, fælles stue og køkken. Der findes endvidere hyggelig gårdhave med grill, terrasse og have. Hver morgen ankommer fiskekuttere fra nattens fiskeri med frisk fangede jomfruhummere, lige udenfor din dør.

Reviewed By RC319Stayed for 2 nights here in august. A very nice, old and refurbished building. Nice view from the garden, in a quiet area. Would recommend it for familes with children, as a base when exploring the area.

Reviewed By elenatarasenkoKan ikke huske hvor var så beskidt inventar i køkkenet, fed, hår, på bestil, tallerkner og salt/peber dispenser, kaffe kande i stykket, sengetøj meget gammel og slidt med hår på ? Nu tænke jeg... i corona tid... hvordan de “desinficeret” alt tilbehør efter deres kunde ? Heldigvis vi haft vores egen sengelinned med ? Kan ikke forstå hvordan man kan sende noget gebyr til kunde for ikke god nok rengjort, hvis det har ingen klude, ingen vaskemidler, ingen ting... Synes god ide notere ved reservation at man skal have al ting med inklusiv toilet papir.

Ok til familieferie
Reviewed By Vandrende-pindVi har netop været knap en uge i en af Danlands lejligheder i Bønnerup Strand. Det har været udemærket. Lejligheden var ren og pæn, dog var der ikke det store udvalg i køkkenudstyr. Vær opmærksom på at lejlighederne er privatejede og derfor forskellig indrettet, hvilket er lidt mærkeligt, når man lejer, at man ikke ved, hvordan netop ens lejlighed ser ud. Det ville være rart, hvis man kunne vælge den lejlighed, man gerne ville have. Men vi var ok heldige med vores. Der er svømmehal med mindre pool, dampbad, børnepool, boblebad og sauna. Ikke det nyeste, men meget rent og velholdt. Super dejligt er det, at poolen er rimelig varm, så man kan “holde ud” at bade. Der er desuden aktivitetsrum med bordtennis, spillemaskiner, poolbord og lidt legetøj til de mindste. Udenfor er der legeplads, fodboldbane, minigolf mm. Alt er udemærket, men fodboldbanen trænger til nyt kunstgræs. Havnen ligger i gåafstand - prøv fiskehandleren: super lækker fisk til gode priser (særligt hvis du er vant til københavner priser på fisk). Alt i alt et fint sted, hvor vi gerne kommer igen.

You are close to the beach and not far from either Ebeltoft or Grenaa. We were in the area to help celebrate my cousin Venner's birthday. It was nice to be back! Gjerrild Kro and Hotel is a very well run facility, the staff are very friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. We stayed in the "room wing", a separate building set apart from the main inn. Our room had a kitchen, this would make it ideal for a longer stay. Our stay included a more than ample breakfast, served buffet style. I say ample, the Danish breakfast always offers you more delicious choses than you can eat. A nice dilemma. The hotel, as well as offering accommodation for the weary, in the true spirit of "KRO" hospitality, also offers the traveller or guest, a fine dining experience. What is a Kro? The concept of a Kro originates back to the 13th century. King Erik Klipping decreed that to alleviate the problem of finding rest and comfort for the weary traveller, at every mile there should be an inn that provided food, drink and a place to rest. There you go, Gjerrild Kro and Hotel, you do just that. Congratulations! There is no question in our minds we will be back, and we will seek to have a longer stay. This should not be a problem. PS There is good wifi and there is ample parking.

Reviewed By Pia BWe stayed for one night and had such a lovely room with a stunning view. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The atmosphere is really amazing, such lovely hosts and service. We loved this place so much that we booked 2 rooms two months ahead when checking out. So much value for money:-)

Simple and Quiet
Reviewed By 874danSelf-service accommodation without any service inhouse. A simple small room. A nice and big sitting room and a kitchen with dining room where you can make your meals. (The guesthouse was probably a kindergarten in the past.) Internet was all right. If you need to stay overnight in Bonnerup and you do not need too much, this place can be recommended as a good choice.
