FOLWARK LUKNAJNO - Is nice & a quiet place 5 km from Mikolajki. Is part of Masurian Landscape Park, located between the biggest in Poland the Śniardwy Lake & the Luknajno Lake which is one of the largest refuge of the mute swans. We offer nice rooms to the lake view, restaurant with regional cuisine, swimming & fishing in the Śniardwy Lake, view towers, long walks and bike rides. In winter we offer sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, skates & fishing from frozen lake. You are welcome to come here.

Reviewed By Via_LavendelA very nice experience! The hostel is very clean and has its own beach nearby the lake. I spend 3 nights at Folwark Luknajno with a good friend. We went in to the woods by bike and could explore the area, we swam in the very beautiful and clean lake Sniardwy and had the chance to relax completely! This place is a secret tip for real where you can get off the hectic and touristic places!

Reviewed By TsemachPWe are a mature couple. Stayed at the Ach Mazury hotel in Mikolajki. First impression was good. The hotel looks modern and recently renovated. But, our joy ended when entering the room. First of all, it's very small. Second, and most importantly, it has NO aircondioning. When we stayed there the weather was hot and humid which means this small room turns into a SAUNA! The hotel provided us with a small fan which was no help and we passed a terrible night, not being able to breath from the heat. To makes things worst, the day after we returned to the room in the evening just to find it not cleaned. Apperantly, this hotel's policy is to clean every two days only.... And more: part of the room was soaking wet as there was a rain storm while we were gone and no one bothered to close the windows. At the reception he told us that it's our problem... Braeakfast is very poor too. Very few choices, not tasty at all and almost no refills (and remember you're eating in a hot dining room with no AC Overall experience is poor. Stay away if you can... One more thing: one of the receptionists doesn't speak even a word of English....

Reviewed By sdziakOne of the oldest B&B started as nr 3 in town back in 1986. Great family place. Highly recommended! Cute dog running around, friendly owners ;-). Good price - quality. The view is outstanding, and downtown very close.

Reviewed By Philip SI have recently visited this place, which has now been renamed Peter's Pub. they provide excelent food as well as good live music 2 to 3 times a week. Peter is not only very friendly and a fantastic host but he also plays the gitar on ghe live music nights. The also have good accomodation at very reasonable rates.

Reviewed By Utan_namnThe best feature of this hotel is the quite large balconies facing the lake, and I was looking forward to sitting in a chair and take in the tranquility of the waters. Unfortunately it rained and was really cold the night I stayed, so I am sorry to say I was not able to experience this part of the hotel. My room was quite large with a surprisingly comfy bed on the 5th floor. The bathroom was quite old and of the kind one could expect from a 2 star hotel, but clean. The WiFI was also acceptable, but not suited for many guests online at the same time; the speed of download went down from 25 Mbps in early afternoon to under 5 during prime time in the evening. The location is also quite appealing, only a short promenade away from the city centre, where one will pass many restaurants and bars.The breakfast was reasonably good for a 2 star hotel with warm dishes like scrambled eggs and sausages, and some variety of cold cuts. I can also add that the hotel offer parking for guests arriving by car, and it looked to me there was plenty of space for an extensive number of cars. Often in the case of 2 stars hotel the conclusion is "what you pay is what you get", but that is also in my eyes the most negative aspect of the hotel. Although in many areas scoring far better than many 2 stars hotels, the price is also quite high for a 2 star hotel. I know that Mikolajki is a major tourist destination, but I was there somewhat before the main season and had previously stayed at 4 star hotels in both Klaipeda and Kaunas at much more reasonable prices.

Terrible - avoid
Reviewed By Janne1104This is the story by my wife: I arrived late in the evening and despite the fact that I did inform that to the hotel, the reception was closed. The reception itself was almost impossible to find. Room were terrible, the heating was not working so I had to sleep with all the clothes on. Bathhroom floor was almost freezing, towels had to be spread along the floor to enable walking/standing there. Bed was horrible to sleep, one had to locate in the middle of the bed so not to roll over to the floor. I have never experienced such a bad mattress. The personnel was friendly when they were available, but they were not capable to solve the heating issue. I ended up booking the last night of my trip to another hotel. Cannot recommend this place to anyone!

Clean and Pleasant
Reviewed By Ben DThe hotel is located in "Ociedle na Gorce" a quiet cul de sac which is short walk from central Mikolajki. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and our host was very pleasant. Parking is available in the gated yard surrounding the hotel.
