Perfect location for peaceful exploration

We loved our 2 bedroom (king size bed & 1 set of small twin size beds) with 1 full bath. The room included a private patio and then had a large glass sliding door to the eat in kitchen and living room. Our oldest opted for the couch for a private space from her brother. The skylight was great for natural light. AC unit worked well as we cooled the space during day and didn't need to run it at night. Kitchen was well stocked as it had a few extras from the previous guests salt, salt, oil, vinager, plastic wrap. Plenty of dish detergent. the teenagers unplugged each night for the Foosball table. Breakfast is offered for 10 euros per person it was very plentiful as there was a variety of pastries and breads with homemade jams and jellies. Made to order eggs and a homemade vanilla yogurt along with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. Half mile away was the bakery. Rarely heard anyone in the rooms around us. My favorite thing was sitting by the pool and listening to birds and nearby horses as this was on the edge of town and it was delightfully peaceful. Yet a short drive to Sete and its wonderful beaches and the larger city of montpellier. A true paradise.

La Villa Guy & Spa

The Villa Guy is an architectural and landscaped witness of the prestigious history of Béziers, a summer city with prosperous wine-making activities. It's between 1868 and 1870 that is built this vast house of Flemish style, for a Swiss couple, on plans of the architect Léopold Carlier. In 1916, the Guy brothers, important wine-making owners acquire this luxurious building nicknamed " the castle" by Beziers people, which will take then its definitive name of " Villa Guy ". The Villa Guy and his park of one hectare, a unique place in the city center of Béziers where you can discover works of Injalbert and Magrou, or another remarkable Spanish-Moorish set with a fountain. Why don't you relax in the swimming pool and in its shaded lounges, to appreciate the sweetness of this beautiful park

Villa Guy is absolutely beautiful, it’s so lovely to stay in an old villa that has been restored and renovated to such a high standard. The gardens and pool are gorgeous too. The man working on the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Lastly the breakfast was served in a lovely dining room and was a 5 star experience.

Paradise Found!

Everything about La Maison du Passage whispers luxury. There is quality to be found in every tiny quarter. It is beautifully designed and exquisitely tasteful but more than that, it works! Everything has been thought of so as a guest, you can totally relax and concentrate on your holiday! We stayed in the Paradis Perdu room which has a private terrace with jacuzzi. It was lovely to be able to chill out with a bottle of rosé from the mini-bar and feel totally calm. The rest of the room was perfect too. Great lighting, aircon that works, fabulous bedding and a double rainfall shower which I totally loved. There was even a shoe horn which delighted my partner! François and Hervé looked after us well and we had delicious breakfasts on the terrace as well as an evening meal in the dining room one night. We tried some local dishes which we really enjoyed. We also took some trips out to Pont du Gard and Uzes which is a really charming town. The bamboo gardens in Anduze are also worth a visit. There are plenty of local medieval villages too if you don’t want to go far. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay very much and to be honest, it was truly difficult to leave after just two nights. Thank you for having us!

Nice hotell in a small French village by the Mediterranean sea.The lovely little hotel is situated just a street across from the beach, and few minutes walk from the reastaurants and bars. It is family driven, and they were very helpfull, kind and interested in the guests. We even got to park our motorcycles in their own private garage during the stay. Our room didn't have a balcony, but we had a stunning view from the window. We had had two bedrooms, and a very tiny bathroom, with a tiny shower. It was enough for us. We ate breakfast outside the hotel, but they have breakfast and it looked good. There was no elevator.

Lovely reception in nice surroundings

Reviewed By kevinkYorkshire

We stayed for 3 nights with Aurelie and Alex . The guesthouse is rural, clean and quiet and the hosts are a charming young couple. A pleasant garden where meals can be taken in both evening and morning. Food is good quality. If you arrive back before 5pm after a day out you may have difficulty entering if this has not been pre arranged ( but can use the very comfortable seating in the garden) . We booked through booking.com and misunderstood the need to send a cheque or make an international bank transfer for the first nights accommodation , which is a bit embarrassing , so be ready for this possible complication .

Bedside of the city of Carcassonne, in one of the old workings of the city called “the trivalle”.The ramparts of the castle expect you only 3 minutes on foot to make fresh starts of the Cathar history. The district of the Country house, heart of the low city, will on foot accommodate you at only 8 minutes with its picturesque market three times per week, and its concentration of trade to the wire of small streets full with charm. In outside, two patios and a garden are open for you to offer the delights of our Mediterranean climate which will accompany tasting by the best wines of the countryThis building of the 17th century sheltered already, in remote times, named home and a purlin support: “the home of the dolphin”. An old paved street crossed it, allowing the carts a passage between the street Trivalle and the place Saint Etienne. Over the years, the destination of this building changed much before we decide to give again his role of origin to him. It has just undergone a complete restoration and you will be accommodated in home with the charm of yesteryear equipped with an optimum comfort where all the equipment is entirely new.

A superb weekend!

Reviewed By Borridge

My wife and I stayed for a 4 day long weekend. Marc and Etienne (and Jaja!) were superb hosts -the breakfasts in the courtyard were excellent - fa bowl of a variety of fresh fruits, croissants, coffee and a variety of other things available in the kitchen area. Whilst being some distance out from the city centre, this was easily accessed from the tram stop just a few minutes away. Similarly the coast was only a few miles away by car. The weather also made sure it was a very memorable weekend, hot with clear blue skies all the way! Most definitely recommended.

We stayed for 11 nights at this motel in room 40 at the first floor. We booked in March this year direct with the hotel, however we got a room in the corner with limited privacy on the terrace and just over the utility room with washingmachine(s) that would wake us up at 06:15 every morning. The room also looked totally different from the rooms shown on the hotelwebsite as ours was very dated. We askes at the reception 3 times for another room and were told "the hotel was fully booked". Most guest stayed for shorter periods and it would have been not too difficult to give us another room. When checking-out I mentioned the noice every morning and was told this could not be correct because nobody was there at that time. (In our room was a form filled out by a previous guest with the same complaint) The motel has all the potential to be a real great place and I don't understand, why allocate a non refurbished room to an early booker that books direct with the hotel. Why is there no fridge in the room to put in some cold drinks to enjoy on the terrasse when overlooking the lake. The noice in the room at 06:15 gets denied. The vieuw is splendid, the beds are good, the food in the restaurant is good, the pool is big and clean. Some of the staff could be more attentive and some speak good and others poor or no english.
