Reviewed By fionalK9047SGWe booked the Vaya Ladis hotel through Sunweb as part of our skiing package. It was more expensive than our usual accomodation, but well worth the money. We had half board accommodation, the breakfast was fabulous buffet style and dinner 4 courses with several choices of 'posh' food. They even catered for my son who has severe allergies. All totally superb. The spa/pool area was just what was needed after a hard day on the slopes. We spent most early evenings in the bar being looked after by the friendly bar tender (apologies, we didnt get his name, although we know he had spent time in Derby in the Uk) who 100% made our evenings by chatting to myself and my boys and making them feel important. An amazing member of the team. All the staff, without exception were polite, helpful and made our holiday a superb exoerience. Thank you Vaya we will be back.

Kindest hotel ever, great place
Reviewed By 168shelleysWe arrived after midnight with no suitcases but in this smaller hotel, Dr Koch waited up for us with the friendliest of welcomes. He also provided a great dinner, drinks and what blew me away - toothpaste and toothbrushes. It could not have been a warmer, friendlier or kinder start to a holiday. We stayed for over a week and really enjoyed the location right next to the ski lift, the charm of Ladis and the convenience of the hotel. The spa has a huge variety of options plus a pool. As for the food, it was always spot on. It is locally sourced, eggs are free range and ethical. The breakfasts, afternoon tea and dinners were perfect. Dinner was a multi course experience with an extensive salad bar, soup, starters, mains and dessert plus a great wine menu. This is a truly phenomenal place though Dr Koch is the magic which makes this hotel so special.

Fab apfel strudel
Reviewed By Liz TI met my friends as they skied down to Ladis and we tried to find somewhere for a coffee. This hotel kindly let us have coffee in their lounge area but obviously we had to take our boots off. They were so kind and gave us little slippers to wear! The lounge was lovely and looked out on the piste and had a friendly cat snoozing in the sun. We ordered excellent coffee from a very friendly waitress. We then asked about apfel strudel and she said if we waited 5 mins then a fresh one was being baked. The chef brought it through when it was ready and it was excellent. The staff here really went the extra mile and we were very impressed. Thank you.

Beautiful modern complete apartment
Reviewed By PieterImhof1Zwingerhof offers everything you need while having an active vacation. They have recently built, modern apartments. All have relatively large space, well constructed and equipped rooms, with each room having a balcony and separate bathroom and toilet. Staff is friendly and very helpful. And the (free) sauna is very relaxing after an active day. The kitchen is very complete, hence you could prepare the meals yourself. With supermarket and restaurants close by, you can make the choice yourself We highly recommend this place for all who want to have a vacation in this great region.

Reviewed By EuroTraveller157To be honest I first came here in the early 90's when there was still a working farm (I stayed in a single room above the cows!!) so I'm slightly biased in that I've been a lot of times. But I think this is still a impartial review: First up: you can book part self catering two bedroom small flats with a living room and balcony or more basic rooms. The location is amazing, literally 3 minutes at the very most to the Ladis ski lift and very easy to find. If there is a lot of snow, you will probably need snow chains to get up the entrance slope to the hotel but they clear it often. I've stayed in all the types of accomodation here and overall its very clean, tidy and I would say basic in that everything you need is there but its not 5 star frills and fancy design. This review is for a mid level double room Depending on your room you get a shower or bath. The showers are fantastic. They give you shower gel to use but not individual shampoo's etc. Being European, there's no kettle/tea/coffee in the room, but that's expected. There's a tv with a large selection of German and European channels and a couple of English speaking ones. There's a lot of wardrobe space and drawers and so on and a safe and fresh towels of course. If you book breakfast, you're not disappointed. A comprehensive continental buffet with cereals and breads and eggs and bacon is available and is excellent. The best thing without doubt though is the help and kindness of Natalie the host. I asked for a couple of wine glasses and some extra soap and it was sorted instantly and left in the room without question. I needed some snow chains due to the massive snowfalls recently, for my hire car which hadn't added them, and she got her brother in law to buy me some in Innsbruck and bring them to me, rather than me having to go to the next village to pay through the nose for some. Anything is not a problem and if you can't find her, there's always a note of how to contact any of them on the reception phone. The price for this is very reasonable and its no surprise she gets booked up very quickly. Can't recommend it highly enough unless you want fancy high design hotel rooms which case there are plenty of other places for you. For location and hospitality it can't be beaten.

Good place at about 5 km to the village and 6km to the ski station
Reviewed By EnbarcoThe Panorama cafe pension is great for spending some days in a quiet place close to the ski station. Some things we didn´t know when we got there and would have been really useful: 1) it is about 5km far from Ladis, so you better go there with food. 2) In winter, come with chains for your car!! the road from Ladis is ok, but if you are not an experienced driver in snow and ice, you might find it tricky. We got there and didn´t move our car in the whole week until the last evening... Anyway, our experience was saved thanks to the personnel. Fritch (mostly likely I spelled it wrongly) and his son were great. They use a minivan as a shuttle to take anyone in the pension to the ski station (round trip) or to Ladis. They were really friendly and even allowed us to have dinner there when we just arrived with nothing. The apartments have a kitchen in which you can cook. However, it is way better if you just try something simple. We tried the oven and it created some smoke in minutes... anyway, the fire alarm does work!! :)

Geweldig uitzicht en een goede prijs
Reviewed By 541colintDoordat we een ander hotel verkeerd hadden geboekt kwamen wij hier terecht. Ze hadden een mooie kamer met balkon beschikbaar voor een goede prijs. De kamer met uitzicht waren geweldig! Vanaf het balkon hadden we zicht op de burcht en de bergen. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig maar wel lekkere eitjes en genoeg te eten. Het enige wat voor een mensen een nadeel kan zijn is de kerk met kerkklokken.
