Reviewed By mgoose549507Excellent with friendly service. I had my pup with me, and they went out of their way to accommodate. Rooms were clean and had everything one could need. The accommodation was easy enough to find and allowed for easy access and departure out of Kokstad.

Reviewed By BobMarshall666Accommodation is basic but adequate; it is clean, comfortable and the owners are friendly. Breakfast is taken in your room, or on the patio if the weather good; and is okay. Parking is secure and under cover. The pool location makes it appear more for the owners than guests.

Reviewed By Fabiano MIl Guest House si trova sperduto nel verde delle campagne della cittadina di Kokstad che é facilmente raggiungibile in auto in meno di 10 minuti. La tranquillità è assoluta, il luogo molto accogliente e la proprietaria cordialissima. La struttura in sé è molto bella ma un po' vetusta e andrebbe oggettivamente ammodernata, altrimenti nei prossimi anni rischia di andare in decadimento. La colazione è variata e abbondante. Per fermarsi per una notte è sicuramente ideale, di più non saprei visto che la zona non offre molte attività.

There's microwave, fridge, toilet has both bath and shower and there's enough parking. Remote gate does not close automatically it has to be closed and i beleive most guest are not aware of that. When checking in it should be told to guest to close the gate.

Lindela House was built in 1902 and is an old Victorian styled home with Oregon pine floors and high ceilings. It is situated in the heart of East Griqualand, Kokstad. The friendly home from home environment welcomes all. All Rooms are en-suite and have satellite TV. We have the option for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.
Nice place to stop over
Reviewed By youonlyliveonce2015We stayed over for 1 night on our way to Port St. Johns. The house is a beautiful, Stately old house and our room was very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast before we went on our way. It is under new management, so it sounds like there are some exciting plans for the future.

So so stay
Reviewed By Tricia WWe arrived after dark after a stressful drive from uMtata, so it was good to find a clean comfortable room, and a warm welcome at reception. Compared to other places we have stayed it was over-priced. There was a fridge, kettle and microwave, but only one glass, one plate, etc. There was only one easy chair, one bath towel and one hand towel. The hot water ran out after one shower. I would not choose to stay there again.

Not what we expected!!!
Reviewed By Larni VWe travelled with a 3 month old baby which we advised the establishment and although the host arranged a single mattress fro baby, the rooms are really small an we had a tough time getting over everything when feeding time in the middle of the night came due! That aside, the rooms are actually all in a small 3 bedroomed house which we had to share with a French family which was a little awkward with a crying baby, but they were great and it was fine in the end! The house itself is in need of some serious TLC, the parking and access is great and the security is good. They have a long way to go and a lot to do to make it work as a guesthouse. As a quick rest stop overnight if you seriously cannot go on and you don't mind take-away dinner then it'll do! But that's it Cannot fault the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and hostesss, I wish them all the best but reward comes with effort!
