Reviewed By Juan PThis was a very nice surprise in the city of Huanuco with this very nice hotel in the central location. It has an elevator which is very convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is modern and spacious. I give it five stars.

Reviewed By Wendy CWe stayed there for a night and I was very impressed! Everyone was super kind friendly and helpful and the accommodations were very nice and clean. We slept comfortably. I loved the terrace and it is a beautiful view! We enjoyed dinner and breakfast there... both were great meals and prepared to order. The last on the terrace cooking was amazing!! Her food was good and she is super sweet. Great value and a place I would highly recommend!!

Reviewed By lwarner03Very nice hotel, close to the plaza de armas, comfortable rooms, amenities and good breakfast. Very nice, helpful staff. Can’t wait to return. These details may sound funny but many places don’t offer them so: The toilet had a seat, there was hot water, there was toilet paper, there was a nice fan if it got hot, they have great wifi and there are outlets for your phone. All the creature comforts I didn’t know I could miss.

Very good value for money
Reviewed By Shan111111111After a long day of driving, it was very much a pleasant surprise to receive such good service from all the staff, especially from the friendly Sra Nelly who serves delicious breakfasts and “lonches” on the terrace. The rooms are well equipped and the bathrooms have good strong hot showers. All the staff follow the covid protocol and wear masks. Although I didn’t get a chance to swim, the pool looks beautiful with a nice view of the “sleeping woman mountain.” The wifi is fast and the signal is strong on all the floors, including the terrace. The owner, although I didn’t catch her name, was friendly and helpful when I asked her for directions back to Lima. She clearly does a good job with her hotel. I recommend staying here.

Decent for the price
Reviewed By Steve GWhile this hotel doesn't pretend to be special, it was clean and spacious enough for a couple, and relatively quiet except for the garbage disposal truck one morning which played loud music. The rooms were big enough for two and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was basic, and in our case, prepared before we arrived one morning, which meant the eggs were cold. They apparently made up for that the next morning by serving us breakfast in our room. The night staff is friendlier than the day staff. The location is not particularly close to town, but one can easily get to the center by 'moto-taxi' for 2 soles. There's incense burning when you enter the lobby. One nice feature--we arrived at 7 am and they let us in the room at that time, then gave us directions to a nice place for breakfast. If you're on a budget, this is a good place to stay.

Relaxing atmosphere
Reviewed By zayney2323We spent a day in the local village and stayed the night in this friendly hacienda. Part of the hacienda has been restored and some of the rooms are now used as a museum showcasing the hacienda's previous owners' lives. The caretaker and his family are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The view from the grounds are beautiful and gloriously quiet. Perfect place to watch the villagers returning from the fields at the end of the day and the sun set over the Andes.

We called them for a room after cancelling another hotel
Reviewed By johnnybickertonWe checked in and the room was comfortable and bathroom very good and that was it. On the night there was a wedding reception that started at 10 pm and went on until 6 am and this is quite normal but we were given the room closest to all the noise and none of us slept a wink. We were told there was a restaurant open on the Saturday. In fact there was nothing and not even a decent beer at the bar because the had run out (before the wedding) In the morning we went for breakfast but it seems that nobody had a clue what they were doing and everything seemed a problem. We went out for the day and came home to go to bed and was fine. In the following morning we were told that there is no breakfast so we went into Huánuco and had breakfast there, we returned to the hotel to use the pool and after decided to have lunch there because the restaurant was open. We were given quite a big menu and when I asked for Lomo Saltado was told that they only have chicken. We ordered chicken but it seemed that the staff mobil phones were far more important than their work After lunch we decided to come home and l left the hotel a day earlier than planned. This hotel puts service at the end of the queue nd really is only interested in large functions like weddings. I have travelled a lot and seen a lot of the world but this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. ant the manager didn't give a hoot.
