A room with a view
Reviewed By Ander12The entire hotel had an exceptional make over and the hand of a highly talented interior designer was certainly noticeable. The room was very clean with a south facing balcony and amazing views onto the mountains. The room was equipped with an infrared cabin, a water fountain and a coffeemaker. Breakfast was luxurious and delicious and the staff was well trained and very service orientated. We had a most pleasant stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Reviewed By Elisabeth TWe were looking for a dog-friendly place and got so much more! The stay is equipped with surprises, little extras and an incredible breakfast. When there is written on the website best breakfast in town I would call it best practice I ever had. Every day a new surprise visited our table. Waffles, pancakes, little tries and tastes. The coffee selection is richer than in most specialty coffee bars . Teas, cheese, at least 15 types of oats, healthy toppings. Honey from their own bees. Everything fresh and local. You come in and join Roland, the owner in his passion for excellent and sustainable products. For our dog, an extra bag was prepared, she also got little extras, and was more than welcome. Another highlight: the tour with snowshoes into the dark, under the stars. Magic of the mountains. If you want to get into the beauty and life, the vivid in human beings, and dive into the wild of your soul, natures‘s zen. Go there. Never seen a place equipped with so much love and authenticity.

Hello and welcome in Hotel Bergland. Our Hotel lies in an open location with lake view on the edge of Pertisau. Perfect as a starting place for all leisure activities such as walking, water-sports, golf and winter sports.
A truly beautiful hotel
Reviewed By Jason TMy family and I have just returned from a fantastic week at this beautiful hotel. The staff, who quite clearly enjoy their jobs, were fantastic and friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lake view room on the 1st floor and that view was stunning. The room was spotlessly clean and looked recently refurbished. It contained the usual things you would come to expect from a hotel room, including a safe (although no tea/coffee making) but the bathroom contained soap and shower gel and the towels were changed daily. We had the half board option. The buffet breakfast consisted of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, pastries, fresh bread and rolls, selection of meats and cheeses, hot scrambled eggs, bacon and boiled eggs as well as tea or coffee. The dinner menu consisted of a visit(s) to the salad bar which had a good variety on cold items on offer. This was followed by a soup course. The main course was chosen from 1 of 4 on offer of which one was always a vegetarian option (which suited my wife and daughter). Finally there was the dessert course. The evening menu was presented at breakfast so you would select it then for that evening. I have posted some photos of the food below but have a copy of all the menus we had if you wanted me to send you a copy. The food was superb, was of fantastic quality and beautifully presented. Drinks were reasonably priced with a small glass of wine costing 2.5 Euros, a large beer 4.10 Euros and soft drinks around 3.5 Euros. On arrival you are given the Achensee card that gives you free travel on the local buses and discounts on the 2 local cable cars (Karwendel which is about 100m up the road and the Rofan which is a 10 min walk from Maurach), boat on the lake and steam train. If you plan on doing these 4 things alone then it is definitely worth upgrading the card to the 'Holiday' card for 72 Euros for an adult and 36 Euros for a child up to 15yrs. This can be done at the hotel and gives you unlimited 'free' travel on these 4 things. It also includes entrance and discounts to local museums and other local attractions. This hotel is perfectly located on the edge of town with fields all around. Paragliders regularly land right outside after launching themselves from the tops of the mountains. It is about a 5 minute walk to the lake edge in one direction and about the same to get to the Karwendel cable car in the other direction. In summary, this is a hotel we would definitely come back to. The people, the food, the room and the location all made what was a truly superb family holiday. We will be back .

Pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, well equipped rooms, nice wellness area, traditional lobby bar...and excellent food.., for breakfast and for dinner with a daily 4 course menu, for main course you can select from three choices...and on Wednesday there is a 5 course gala menu. A warm welcome and a perfect base to explore Achensee
Reviewed By Sh0girlMy sister and I visited (after a 2 year delay!) in May 2022 to explore the area which was the setting to a series of children’s books we had enjoyed when growing up (The Chalet School series by Elinor M Brent-Dyer). Alpenvital was perfect for us - a spacious and well arranged apartment at the entrance to the nature park but in east reach of the lake and its attractions. Julia had been flexible and proactive in changing our booking (several times!) and as a Pertisau native went above and beyond to share information and advice. We spent our days walking, in the stunning alps aided by the handy cable car, ferry and (a bit of a walk round the lake) the steam train. The highlight of our trip was scaling Barenkopf, how grateful we were to return to the comforts of Alpenvital after that! I’m very much hoping to return with my husband and will head straight to Alpenvital.

You can book double rooms, Deluxe rooms, Suites as well as family rooms or single rooms with bed & breakfast or half board. There is also an á la carte restaurant with sun terrace. The restaurant St. Hubertus is famous for traditional Austrian food. Guests of the hotel can visit the private beach, which is located directly at the Gasthof St. Hubertus. The Sauna with a Finnish sauna and an infrared-cabin offers you a marvellous view over the lake. Dogs are very welcome at the hotel and the restaurant!
Fabulous Winter Stay
Reviewed By Martin MWe took a 5 day break in Austria and decided to stay in the Gasthof St. Hubertus. We chose Pertisau because we wanted to walk rather than ski, and this area seems to cater for walkers in the winter. The Gasthof was fabulous in every sense. Location, owners & staff, food, rooms etc... Achensee was easy to reach. We flew to Innsbruck and took a bus to the main railway station. Bus F stops directly outside the main airport entrance and takes approximately 15 minutes to the railway station. (Cost 3.10 euro per person). From Innsbruck you need to take a train to Jenbach railway station (8.80 euro per person). You can then take a local bus to Pertisua / Maurach etc and if you show your hotel reservation you travel free. The bus stop is directly outside the hotel.

She made a great breakfast in the also charming kitchen which included everything, it was a rich and tasty meal. From the house, you can take the bus up to the center or the lake or you can walk for 20 minutes to the center and ski cabin.

The setting is so serene and quiet, the scenery is so breathtaking. And the food!..... True world-class dinners at head-shaking bargain prices. The chef is a GEM! Eat nowhere else in Pertisau! (And take the gondola you see out your window to the top of the mountain!)
