Location - Negru Voda street - gas station in 100 m from the premises ... with a small shop. Several rooms available - spacious and clean .. with a sparkling bathroom. Simple but functional , with a small TV in the room and strong Wi-Fi available. Parking in the courtyard - available free of charge Room - comfortable bed , clean room , the bathroom of decent size with shower booth and very clean. No restaurant on the premises but you can order from the restaurants in Curtea de Arges. Also in walking distance there are a few restaurants available. Prices - pocket friendly and the owners are awesome upon arrival they offered a welcome drink on the house and they were very helpful and friendly. You can pay either cash either with credit card. Overall a very good place to stay , if you need accommodation in Curtea de Arges and you are not looking for luxury this can be the ideal place for you.

And here are the findings: - location - on Negru Voda street - very quiet a few rooms guest house - very clean and very comfortable. Ideal for our needs. - prices - very pocket friendly - about 25-30 euro/night - I would say excellent. And you can pay with credit card. Reception is working till 20:00 so try to get there before that time. parking in the courtyard is limited to 3 spots - so it might be a challenge if the spots are taken already. - staff - very friendly and helpful. - no breakfast, we left very early, but I recon it is available upon request - but if you wanted a coffee it was available on spot. - room and bathroom - very clean ... really nothing to complain, all the amenities available And worth mentioning - if you dine at the restaurant "La Conac" - 500 m up the street form this spot - you get 10% discount. Overall a very nice spot - if you are not looking for luxury it can be a great stay for an overnight stop or even for 2-3 days if you decide to visit the area. I recommend you check it out if you need accommodation in the area.

Reviewed By Viorel_25The hotel is located near the city center and it provides a big parking area. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The view from the balcony towards San Nicoara Church ruins was amazing. The buffet breakfast was good.

Reviewed By Raluca MThis place was very nice, with a lot of flowers and friendly owners, it also had it’s own parking place. In the morning we were served with very good coffee. I would definitely recommend it and come back here any time i have the chance, 10/10 for sure!!

Amazing hotel and great prices
Reviewed By Stuart HLast minute and late find but what an fantastic place. The staff are lovely and the rooms was amazing. Tho we did not have breakfast due to not being hungry and needing to leave to get back on the road did see other people’s breakfast and looked a great feed. Lovely patio areas both back and front on the hotel. Well recommend a stay to anyone passing.

Reviewed By Languagetools TClean bathrooms, fresh food, very polite and honest. We forgot some stuff and when we got back every thing was in order. I only want to suggest they add hair driers in the bathrooms. Put an elevator if possible for their elderly.

Fishes Valley Chalet 2, located on the border of Vidraru Lake, on the Transfagarasan Road, 70th km. The chalet is built on 4 stories and on the eastern side it is protected by a hill and that is the reason why all the rooms have Vidraru Lake and mountains view. The chalet has 45 accommodation places 4 twin rooms, 1 double bad room and apartment 101 (1st floor) classified at 2 stars, with TV and bathroom; 7 triple rooms and a 4 beds apartment (2nd floor) classified at 2 stars, with TV and bathroom; 4 twin rooms (3rd floor) classified at 1 star, with mini-bathroom.
Old worn hotel with bad tidiness at a beautiful location
Reviewed By MLovikWe arrived the hotel late at night after passing the beautiful road of Transfagarasan in time to see the sunset. Earlier in the day we climbed Mount Negoiu from the other side of the mountains (Sebesu de Sus) and we’re pretty ready for a good nights sleep in what seemed to be a decent hotel with spectacular views. Upon checking we asked for a larger room as we wanted to relax and work a few hours the next morning. To our disappointment nothing was what it seemed and what we hoped for. The room had a bed that was 150cm wide, a sofa so filthy with dirt you would rather sit on the floor, and a bathroom with broken almost everything and maybe worst, dirty. The tiny bed is also very uncomfortable and gives a feeling that is it very old.. We’d rather not think too much about the cleanlyness of the bed. All in all we left as early as we woke up and didn’t want to spend another second in this property. The hotel requires a massive refurbishment before it’s marketable as anything else than a cheap Motel with a great view. Very disappointing.

Reviewed By Tibor MWe used again Tripadvisor ratings to find a spot for a night on our Romanian tour. Excellent choice! Nice staff, friendly and helpfull. We had a family room, one very spacious bedroom + a smaller one at the entrance with a sofa bed. The bathroom is maybe a bit small but OK at limit. Nice little terrace. Breakfast is way above average with fresh and super yummy local products including vegetables that we sooo miss in most west European accommodations. Meats and cheeses were unbelievable certainly not your average supermarket products. Hot options available as well. I recommend, if Curtea de Arges is your next stop

Reviewed By JohannesH85Pension with farm, close to Curtea d´Arges but away from major roads. Family business where cats, dogs and donkey have their place between the meadows and trees. Very friendly owner. Rooms with bathroom and one appartment. Excellent breakfast.

Dirty place.
Reviewed By IoanaN57The place is dirty and abandoned, the furniture is old and broken, the pillows are awful. Only two of the four beds had full linens... nothing looked clean. There were spiderwebs in the room. We expected a simple, clean place, but we felt fooled. We took photos so that people know what the real conditions are. The dogs in the yard barked all night.
