Zen View has a stunning view from an enormous window ideal for winter when you can't sit on a balcony but still want to have a space to get a good view of the ocean. Bathroom in this room is enormous too with a gorgeous freestanding bath and huge shower. There is also a private patio against the mountain side and a small private lounge for reading. We loved this room and will highly recommend this guesthouse. There is also a tasteful braai area in the garden with a big wooden table which is protected from the wind as well as an upstairs lounge space for guests with a fireplace. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and the coffee delicious! Thank you for making the start of our anniversary trip so special even my favorite flowers by pure coincidence on the breakfast table.

Mermaid Guest House accommodated me even though I have arrived at a despicable time. My stay was incredible, beautiful rooms and incredible service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone that would consider to stay there.

Reviewed By BrettBelleWhat a lovely weekend at the guesthouse . My husband and I and my 2 adult stepchildren (19 and 24) spent a very Special birthday weekend. It was my husband and stepson's birthdays that week. Betsie the Manager is the most hospitable hostess I've met and bends over backwards to offer the most friendly service. Although the guesthouse is soon to be renovated, the rooms and bathrooms were still well maintained and very clean. There is a certain ambience of feeling "at home" which Betsie provided. The fireplace was gorgeous. The housecleaning ladies were on hand if you needed anything extra as well when they came to make up the rooms. I'm looking forward to returning once the renovations are done. Thank you so much Betsie for making our weekend special.

Reviewed By Tim VStayed here to go on a fishing trip the following morning (early morning). Sarah helped us out by providing the best breakfast I've potentially ever had in my young life. The most wonderful host a person could ever wish and the rooms were just stunning. Great atmosphere, perfect accomodation and absolutely amazing service. I wish we could've stayed longer because the beds were so comfy! Really enjoyable and although we have had a short time with Sarah, the time spent was amazing and I'll definitely be returning here soon. Overall a 6/5 experience!!!

So friendly even though it was so late assured me she could help and directed us to the beautiful tranquil setting where Guillaume quickly and efficiently helped us. To our wonderful surprise -we were very glad our booking was messed up! What a gem to find! Not just Beautiful but with everything you need! Thank you for saving our weekend away! We would definitely return to rest and enjoy the views, excellent service and friendly help!

Reviewed By Alex-Hauser87The B&B is located very close to the sea and the incoming waves produce a very special and cosy environment. We slept very well after a long day on the road. The bathroom was clean, the sheets did not smell, everyting was well maintained. The breakfast provides and freshly cooked by, Kathy left no needs. We were fully satisfied. And of course there is Kathy, a very kind lady whit a good sense of humor. We would totally book here again!
