Births & Deaths

Reviewed By fixxhalo - Sydney, Australia

You will be greeted by great staff who will take the time to explain their menu and the meaning behind it. The food is simply stunning and their cocktails are fantastic. Worth the money. The fact they keep changing the cocktail menu gives you more reason to go again next time. Remember to book in advance.

Illawarra Brewing

Reviewed By benst - Leichhardt, Australia

After years of having their “Chuck Norris” in Sydney it was great to be able to visit person. About a 20 min walk from the Novotel in north beach. Brewery is in a quiet industrial area near the University. Tables were well spaced out and clean. As well as having the Chuck (of course) we also enjoyed their IPA. There was a food truck on site - the Korean food was pretty good! Really pleasant space and the guy who runs it was a friendly host. Would return on our next Gong visit.

Breakout Bar & Escape Rooms

The team behind Hangdog Climbing Gym, Hangtime Trampoline Park and Revolution Laser Arena are proud to present Breakout Bar & Escape Rooms. Our first adventure centre designed for adults! We believe in truly immersive experiences, and at Breakout we invite you to ‘Escape your Everyday’ join us on a journey through time with the mysterious (and slightly goofy) Professor B. When you step into Breakout Bar you enter the Professor’s home, where he invites you to relax with a drink (perhaps one of his signature cocktails) before you journey through time in The Machine. Become a Chrononaught (Time Traveller) and step into one of our Time Chambers (escape room) where you will work as a team to solve puzzles, find clues and uncover hidden meanings in order to solve the mystery and return home (escape the room). Once you return you can breakout into song in one of our private karaoke rooms! This is truly engaging fun and perfect for group functions or just a night out.

Four friends and I planned a trip to Wollongong specifically to do all 5 of these rooms, and they did not disappoint! Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful with the booking process and running our sessions! Many thanks to Heidi, Lily, Alana, Keira, and a special thanks to Orion and Connor for coming in early and looking after our sweet doggo (Toffee). All five of us agree that Asylum was our favourite, followed by Da Vinci! The drinks and atmosphere were fantastic as well! Thank you guys for a great experience! :)
