Paphos, the capital of western Cyprus, has some serious historical clout. Site of the vast fourth-century BC Tombs of the Kings, set high on a cliff above the sparkling sea, as well as a dramatic Byzantine castle and fine mosaics, it's also known as the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite. The population of 27,000 is swelled by a summer influx of beach-bound English, German and Scandinavian visitors. A beautiful old harbor awaits, while modern hotels and restaurants stretch along the promenade.

If you are looking for a relaxed and chilled out atmosphere in a secluded area, with a perfect location to enjoy the sun setting in the sea, while listening to good quality music, then we are the Place - Paradise Place. Our bar provides simple, honest drinks at very affordable prices, so that you can spend several hours tuning in the good vibes of the place. Here you can enjoy your drink and the pure, beautiful nature the same time, as we are located outside the remote village of Pomos. Pomos is a small village by the sea in the NW of Cyprus, which is not overbuilt, not very popular for the mass tourism and where the sea meets the hills covered in the aromatic pine forests. We organise regular music nights and events which are being advertise via our FB page. During the days of the events you can camp for free on the grounds of the bar and use the outside shower overlooking the sea. The Paradise Beach which is 10 min walk from here, is the only sandy beach in the area, where you can find nice natural shade both in the morning and in the afternoon.

Visited on the recommendation of other Tripadvisor reviews and wasn't disappointed! Huge menu of interesting and unusual beers and ciders (many of them homemade!), spent a few evenings here trying out different beers - owner and bar staff very knowledgeable about all of their stock and happy to make recommendations to suit your palate. Well worth a visit when in Paphos if you enjoy your beers, and looking forward to going back next year :-)

Far from the crowd but close enough to the sea makes it the perfect place to enjoy your drink.Visit us and try real ale made in paphos.All seven different kinds of beer from Aphtodites rock brewery available in 500ml bottles.Large variety of bottled beers from around the world along with a descent selection of tap beers and ciders.Cocktail lovers can also find signature cocktails along with the usual suspects. Great wee bar great service great banter Spiro s is a mad Aussie/Cypriot guaranteed to make your night I have always had to wobble away fro here cocktails are brill beer is of a very high standard Even after a year away still treated like locals ( and there is a few) if locals love it shows how good it is We love it

We found this bar on our first night in Paphos and they made us come back quite a few times more :-) We were made to feel very welcome and the bar had a great fun but laid back atmosphere and we enjoyed the ''blowing the horn, Flinstone style'' to announce the cocktail arrival! Oh yeah, and you always get freshly made popcorn all the time while you enjoy your drink. Michael and Leo are very nice and warm people...Enjoyed our visit there.

Where do I start, I’ve been coming to this bar for around 6 years and it just keeps getting better and better. I have made so many friends thru this bar it’s name “friends” certainly suits it 100%. As I write this review waiting to be picked up for the airport I’ve had yet another fantastic holiday in Paphos. The entertainment in friends is brilliant the must sees are Chris King as Elvis Monday’s and Thursday, Blues brothers on Wednesdays and Ben Mills on a Saturday. I stayed at the Alecos apartments above friends bar this time so a special mention to Rachael the young Scottish lady who helped sort this out for me. See you all soon. ????
