I ate here with my partner after checking out the different menus around the square. We plumped for the meat skewers that you share, 2 skewers with lamb and chicken, fries, cheesy garlic bread for the sides. The meat was lovely, not overcooked which can happen sometimes, the garlic bread was more of a pizza base sort of texture but delicious. Service was prompt and the staff happy to help explain the menu and service was with a smile. The meal was plenty for 2 and we are both big eaters. Great value as the meal, 3 beers, 2 ciders came to less than 40 levs, aprrox £18.

its the cheapest place we ate in and probably the most disappointing food wise, no one enjoyed their meals, which ranged from pork chops, steak, chicken - shame but there are better places to eat

We chose this place for its high recommendation and it's great and wonderful location.First what's really positive is indeed the location which is straight at the sea and provides you a nice view.The staff and spanish waiter we had was highly professional and had a perfect management of serving the many tables he had. Furthermore he was so friendly it was a pleasure to be served by him.To the restaurant:When we were appointed our seats and took a seat the chairs felt kind of oily this was the first impression...well ok might happen - then I went for the bathroom which was so disgusting and dirty - no toilet paper, the toilet seat up and completely yellow underneath - didn't dare to touch it - for this was not enough you weren't able to lock the door..I felt uncomfortable with this two issues. Still I wanted to try the food because of the good reviews.I ordered a small starter plate with dips and bred and garfish and my company salmon filet.The starter plate was nice with nice ideas of dips. We liked that one. The main courses were a big disappointment.The salmon filet was said to come at least with salad - it was one salad leaf and a quarter of a tomato and a lemon. Nothing more - for that it was far too less.Furthermore the salmon tasted old and not fresh at all - I ate one far better in my home country. The garfish was ok i don't know how it's supposed to taste. It came with a few boiled potatoes - thank God otherwise it wouldn't have been enough at all..Why I come to my one star review..we ate there for dinner. When being in bed I got stomach ache and in the end even had to puke out the whole meal.I didn't have any problems with food while staying in Bulgaria and my stomach is not that sensitive too but this was not the best experience I made in Bulgaria - unfortunately it could be a nice restaurant but it totally messed it up. Dear MunichRose2015,first of all thank you for choosing our restaurant for your dinner. Second we wanted to apologize for your bad experience. If you let us we will take some time to try and explain some of the issues that you had. Thank you for that.The chairs might have been oily because they are being used used during the day by people from the beach and we might have overseen that. After that comes the toilet. During our dinner we cannot be in the toilet all of the time and the lifted seat and yellow goes to someone that have used it. Next comes the salmon. If you expect that you are eating fresh salmon in Bulgaria you are far from the truth. Especially in your case the fish was bought the day before your visit(and we have the document for that) and it was not refrigerated.For your illness again we are very sorry but from our point of view we can guarantee that this has never happen with a guest of ours before and again me and my family eat every day in the restaurant.Finally for your one star review- it is your choice although the good things. As a compensation we can offer you a free dinner and a guarantee that everything will be super. If you are still in Obzor and you are not afraid to try again. This was my third time here within 5 years. Now we just came back again because it was a perfect place. Now the drinks were good and the waiter very helpful but that's all. No seafood available, just fish. I asked scrimps without dill because of allergy and it was not possible to prepare. The rakia is good and they offer us a good wine. Ate here with my husband after trying lots of other restaurants. Had small bottle of local red, two large beers. Ordered Greek salad, a cheesy potato dish, a creamy chicken dish and garlic bread. By far the best food we have eaten, very authentic, wonderful taste, and lots of it. Couldn't have asked for more. The best bit it's a steal at £22! Will be returning before we go home. Excellent.
