I must be honest, myself and family found Silks by accident after an argument about where to eat. Nobody could decide what to eat and one of us just happened to see Silks out of the corner of our eye. We had a look at the menu and saw there was a really decent range of food available so we walked on in and took our seats. From the outside Silks doesn't look like much, it is your standard bar set up with outside seating area which is under cover and a nice interia with memorablia on the walls and a nice clean bar. The real magic at Silks comes from the service you receive. We were immediately welcomed by Thomas who has recently taken owndership of Silks and he cannot do enough for you. He talked to us about the place and told us all about the evenings plans and entertainment and gave all 7 of us in the party a warm welcome. When it came to the food none of us were expecting too much but we we amazed by it. The food could not have been any better and everyone was delighted with it. We gave the chef Marius a standing ovation when he came out of the kitchen for his break. We went on a Friday night which we found out was karaoke night. The place started to fill up after we'd finished our dinner and young and old alike took part in the karaoke fun including my 9 year old son who eventually went on to win the competition which really made him happy. The regulars were all welcoming and friendly and helped to make us all feel very welcome.If you're in this part of Spain then you must go for a night out at Silks, simple as that.HiThank you so much for your amazing review we loved having you guys and you really helped make the evening so much fun!! Silks since opened has been about creating memories thatâs something myself (Mel & Thomas) fell in love with when we were customers, and fully intend to continue and build in that. Superb selection of cold plates and some of Europe's best beers. Informal and friendly atmosphere with good attentive service. If you are lucky enough to get a spot outside, you can watch the world go by. Super find.

This tapas bar relocated a couple of years ago is now up the Main Street from the Balcon de europa (the middle one the three). Go straight up past Sevilano tapas restaurant follow the road up to the left then up about 50 mtrs then on the left is the narrow street San Jose. It is only short walk up this street,near the top on the left. On entering you have to walk over a glass floor with a cellar below which is a small tapas bar museum. The tapas bar bar is modern and spotlessly clean. Rafa the owner has a small menu of tapas cheese and meats and also some grilled dishes. The novelty dish he is known for is charizo inferno, a sausage cooked on a pig shaped dish on your table. White spirit is lit in the bottom of the dish to cook it. His wines are very good quality and at a very good price. This is a friendly tapas bar and an experience not to be missed, it is well worth finding. It is usually opened at 19.30 hrs Monday to Saturday.

The Ship was across the road from our hotel The Riu Monica. We visited this pub once twice daily. Food was very nice. Drinks reasonable with plenty to choose from. Recommend the Gin Fizz. Staff are very friendly and could not name just one as all were great. Mostly English and spoke to one from Holland.Got to know our drinks 3 cans of John Smiths with two half glasses fr the ladies. Would highly recommend this pub.

We ate here several times last week and itâs definitely on our list for next year too.Delicious steaks one evening and fish and chips another. The staff are so nice, it makes you want to return. Delicious crepes and ice cream sundaes. See ya next year ladies

We love this pub. Quirky decor. Cosy interior. Outside seating areas ...even wee blankies when the chilly evenings start. Owners Hannah, Ally and Bibi welcome all their customers with a smile and remember us all when we go back. Hannahâs pub grub menu hits the right spot. Burger night once a week but my fav is the chicken goujons with sweet chili sauce. Loos are worth a visit ... youâll have to go to find out why.

I visited last month as a solo travelled and loved it! Enjoyed sitting at the bar having well priced drinks and enjoyed the delicious food too! Such friendly staff too! They really know what there doing here - highly recommend.

Vegan review: Loved this place! Sat upstairs on the terrace. We were served bread and olives and a complimentary tapas dish - mine was vegan, couscous with vegetables. I opted for the houmous and quinoa wrap with salad (could have had it with chips) and it was gorgeously soft and tasty with the addition of sweet chilli sauce. Service was excellent, staff were lovely.

Revisited Pedros bar and still as chilling as all our previous visits . Mustaffas big smile greets you on the way in and Pedros friendly manner is always great .Apparantly the best Aperol spritzers in Nerja so they wife said but the beers good too .

Had an amazing night at Starrs Tapas! The staff could not be more friendly and attentive. Seb the waiter was incredible, so chatty and kind. The food was fantastic and perfectly made and presented!!! Amazing prices too. They even had the surprise of one of us having a birthday and they got something together quickly and came out to sing happy birthday as a suprise...Also offering us some complimentary shots! The staff absolutely made the evening and we will definitely be back!! Thank you Starrs! X
