Perfectly located on Mitchell Street, Monsoons, Darwinâs original cinema building, has been restored and remodeled into a vibrant city venue abundant in community cool and party atmosphere while holding on to traditional pub values. Think fun, relaxation
Misjudging, unprofessional rude and AGGRESSIVE doormen. 292 way too touchy and 116 obviously distracted by his phone unable to estimate and monitor customers. Manager was arrogant, rude and moreover misjudging as well. 116 and manager insulted me. Definitely ruined our birthday party!Canât recommend and wonât.

I just spent the last 6 months living in Kununurra. That town is smaller and probably dodgier than this one, but good grief at least their country club looks inviting and has a nice setting. They put in an effort. When you hear the term âcountry clubâ I see rolling green lawns, beautiful gardens, well dressed guests and maybe even a valet out front. The Katherine Country Club is a dive. Hidden out in a dark part of town, I was almost too scared to eat here but given Iâm stuck in Katherine due to my car breaking down and Arriving back into town after dark when it isnât safe for females to walk around .... this was my only option as it does offer a courtesy bus service to and from anywhere in town (which I will say is a plus). I ordered a steak (because at least Iâd probably be pretty safe ) alas. It was over cooked, heavily in oil ... and it came with the option of helping yourself to salad or vegetables in a Bain Marie. Goodness knows how long any of it had been sitting there so I steered clear of that. Sincerely wishing I had just ordered Dominoes from my motel room.

Random stop on the drive from Katherine to Darwin, went in to buy some coffee and ice cream, but then we discovered the open deck in the back of the building with ping pong, darts and pool table. Ended up spending a pleasant 30-45 minutes there.

I came here for lunch on AFL Grand final day and despite it being really busy the staff were happy to help me (and others) to order food and get drinks. I had the fish and chips which were fine, but nothing special. But the service from the staff was great and made it a very pleasant lunch.

One meaty beef burger and one meatless (vegan) burger, both very tasty.Fries as a side were also good, but a bit of a small portion. The restaurant had a great vibe, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will be back.

We tried a dozen and a half of oysters and they all tasted good. Presentation was ok, but overall $90 for 18 oysters and 2 cocktails ordered and paid for at the bar is expensive. Hi PeteC166a, Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback on your previous visit with us at Oyster Bar Darwin. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your oysters but are however disappointed that you did not find our pricing competitive. Your feedback has been passed on to our management team.

The Darwin Trailer Boat Club is Darwin's oldest seaside Club. From its humble origins in 1954, trading from a modified caravan, the Club has grown to become a Darwin institution. Today the Club boasts an architect-designed modernist Club House with a capa
Lovely waterfront views for a sunset dinner. Really enjoyed the Garlic Prawns that I had and they were really reasonably priced. Nice for a relaxed dining experience and looked good for families as well as there is a kids playground. Would definitely go back again if I was in town.
