We used recommendations to find this place and it proved to be one of the best meals we ate in Seville. It's not your traditional type of tapas bar - staff were young and the interior of the restaurant modern and quite non-descript. The food - especially the burger - was amazing! We wanted to try as much variety as possible, so we split the burger and ordered a couple of tapas too. There was an option of baked or fried patatas bravas - our waitress recommended the baked version, which literally was a baked potato topped with a bravas sauce - delicious. We also ordered the ubiquitous local speciality spinach with chick peas - this was nice and spicy - and a goats cheese tapas. This was more food than we really needed, but we arrived hungry!Service was excellent and prices very reasonable. Great for famillies and burger lovers everywhere!

My wife and I ate here on two nights – the food was so good we couldn’t resist going back! It’s fairly informal, with a good atmosphere and service. They speak English, and are happy to help. The menu gives just the right amount of choice, while not being too lengthy, allowing them to make all items to-order. They have a changing beer menu, as well as the usual drinks. The prices were very good – we were surprised that on both occasions we visited, our bill was only around EUR 35 for a couple of drinks and four tapas dishes (more hen enough for 2 people to share). There are a lot of tourists (probably because of the high Trip Advisor rating), but don’t let that put you off - there are plenty of Spanish people later in the evening.Highly recommended.Hey, this is a greatly worded opinion! We wish everyone was so careful when describing their eateries! Thanks a lot for the good review, it's a pleasure to know you came back twice to dine at La Linterna Ciega, see you soon!

Based on the recommendation of the gentleman who checked us in at the hotel, we decided that we would be eating in the Triana neighborhood because that’s where locals dine and drink. We were not disappointed! The first night in Seville, we ate at Casa Cuesta and it was good but I was a little disappointed with the garlic shrimp that came out sizzling, but they cooled down so much that by the time I ate them, they were minuscule. The server was very friendly, but there was a language barrier for the first time that prevented my friend from being able to communicate that she was a vegetarian even though I explained it perfectly in Spanish. What she ordered, she requested no meat and was served meat. I ordered Sal Morejo soup, which I had in Cuba at an Air Bnb and the woman who owned it had lived in Spain, and it was one of the best soups I had in my life. I expected a little bit more from the soup here in Seville at this restaurant. I know it’s a cool soup but it was ice cold. However, the fried cheese with raspberry purée was phenomenal!! We also really enjoyed the ratatouille and it was incredibly flavorful. We also got to watch a futbol game while I drank many beers.

We have lived in Triana for a few weeks and had a great time.Triana is an neighborhood of Seville, different in character from the rest of Seville In the bars and restaurants you can easily talk with the inhabitants of Triana and you can enjoy spontaneous guitar playing and singing as the flamenco is meant. The place to be!One of our favorite restaurants was: Patio las Columnas, on the corner of Calle San Jacinto 29 and Calle Rodrigo de Triana, where the waiters greeted us kindly every time we stepped inside. We like sitting at the bar with a glass of wine and a tapa, but you can also enjoy the Spanish cuisine, at the tables inside or outside on the terrace. On the terrace you can be surprised by a flamenco singer or guitarist passing by.The waiters have fun in their work and work very well together, the food is delicious!Really a perfect restaurant to enjoy the Spanish food in the afternoon or to end a beautiful Spanish day in the evening.Heartily recommended!AnneliesHello annelies1956,Thank you so much for sharing such an amazing opinion with us.We are more than glad you liked that much our place, food, service and the atmosphere...Thank you for recommending us.Merry Christmas.
