Rosemount was established as a township in 1858 and incorporated as a city in 1972, encompassing the old village of Rosemount and Pine Bend. According to the city's website, there was some debate over whether to name the township Saratoga or Rosemount, with the latter finally being chosen to reflect the town's Irish heritage, and to remain in keeping with the name given to the post office a few years earlier. Rosemount is home to the Pine Bend Refinery, which is the largest oil refinery in Minnesota and the 14th-largest in the United States. Rosemount was also home to a military gunpowder plant in the 1940s called Gopher Ordnance Works. Now, all that remains are the walls.

Consistent food and decent service... we've been here many times but I have never thought to review it before. And coincidentally, we actually had our grooms dinner here back in September 1997... you can rent that large party room in the back... and we were quite pleased with the experience. Definitely a top place to eat in Apple Valley, and the pizza is really good.

This restaurant is consistently good! They have really good gyros, and truly outstanding kibbeh. The Greek rice is delicious as are the fries and onion rings sides. The Greek salad is laced with salad peppers and olives and a zippy dressing that is delicious scooped up with pita bread.We have had great luck with lamb dishes and they offer a variety of gluten-free options including pizza if Greek food is not your thing!The belly dancers are fun!

Had an early dinner with hubby and in laws. Wait staff was very patient while we visited before ordering. Great burger with waffle cut sweet potato fries cooked extra crispy as ordered. Both soups were delicious as was the shared carrot cake - moist but no raisins

Usually a great place for a quick lunch before shopping. Ordered some chicken sandwich and Cole slaw which was excellent but sandwich missed the mark. Way too much bun and flattened piece of dry chicken that was tough as shoe leather.Mentioned it to server who could not have cared less.No manager came over and no offer to âmake up for itâ.

I come here once in a while because it's so close to my house. The servers in the bar are great, as are the bartenders. Every now and then, I give them another shot and make the mistake of ordering food. Every single time, the main food item is ok... Then, I get the pleasure of biting into a stale fry that's cold and has that tough-to-chew texture. Really? Your cooks can't get fries right? My last review, the manager responded asking for a private email. I did send, got no response. Come here for a drink and enjoy the service. But, if you're hungry... Go anywhere else.Weâre sorry to see that you didnât have a great experience with us, Larry, and that your fries came out stale. We stopped here after shopping at the outlet mall. I hadnât read any reviews and just took a chance. They seated up right away and the server was very friendly. The food was just outstanding and we enjoyed it very much. This place is a real gem and we will come back.

No surprise that they serve pretty good Irish food and some basic americana fare. Four of us had lunch on a mid week day around 1:00pm recently. We enjoyed their beer selection (a few Irish, mostly from upper midwest regional brewers. We tried a variety of courses: shepard's pie (tasty with massive amount of whipped potatoes), bangers and mash (large portions of 4 sausages and large whipped potatoes), Blue Blarney hamburger (good bacon and cheese toppings with massive french fries), and murphy's port swiss (very tasty with massive french fries). Service was good and the atmosphere pleasant. I can expect this place really gets rolling in the evenings.

I really like Carbones pizza and the atmosphere is unique. I went there with a group of people and we all had fun. Service is right at the top - very little waiting and polite. I will definitely go again.

Stopped in here to meet with family - got a nice round table to seat six. Good margaritas and beer selection. Most of us got the parmesan-crusted walleye dinner... excellent! We could sub potatoes or get double veggies. Others got the walleye sandwich (also good - different breading than the dinner). Loved the tater tots!You can make reservations and we suggest that as it fills up.There's a nice meeting room (with doors for privacy) for groups - when we were there it was being used for a graduation party. We'll be back.

Yup yup great meal again. Bf had a Swanee burger which was fantastic. Half pound burger, bacon, blue, grilled onions, cheddar. All with salad for him. I had the Reuben with sweet potato fries. Yummy it was perfect. 1000 on the side and a pickle. Delish and got the spot !
