We love this place owned by Gabriela very much. The assortment of beers is very impressive and they know how to serve a draft beer. Just one correction: it is not close to a restaurant and this posting is all about avoiding disappointments. But if you want to hang out in an excellent beer place where you can also snack: #1 in town.

I hit this place up when visiting my wife's family in Brazil. I am glad we did. It was a hot day and the beer just hit the spot. They serve both light and dark and to my surprise, I found myself more attracted to the light beer. It tasted great and went down like water. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and ate them tapas style. The Picanha with onions was best but we also had a delicious charcuterie plate, fried cod, batatas fritas and sausage. It was great to just hand out and look over the town square. It had a festive atmosphere as the locals and foreigners were having a good time alike. Wait staff has been there forever. our waiter told us he has worked there for 25 years, so I think that's testament to the quality of the place and the ownership. They also have a gift shop and a big penguin that ;you can get your selfie taken with. Even the tables and chairs have their feet designed to look like penguin's feet.

I didn't eat a full meal here, but I can attest that the appetizers were all good, including the picanha with onions, fried cods, meat and cheese plate and fries, all shared family style. We also had several rounds of delicious beer Interestingly for me, I preferred their light beer over their dark. We had several rounds and they went down like water, with hardly buzz. So refreshing on a hot day in Brazil. The location is cool, you can sit and people watch. Lots of Brazilians were here as well, having a great timeso it's not a trap for foreign tourists. Many staff members have been here for decades and they make a big show out of changing the ice for the beer (chop). The bill for four of us, which included the above mentioned appetizers and several rounds of drinks was about $120 US with a tip, so prices aren't bad at all.

Food is tasty and great value, staff is friendly and helpful, beer produced in the place is very good. Most customers are young and business men, having a drink after work. At weekends you see all kinds of people, the place has a lively atmosphere.

25 reais for an all you can eat "feijoada" seems to be a pretty good deal. Now add to that visiting Invicta Brewery, interacting with the brew master and drinking recently made beer directly from the tank for no additional fee. I am definitely visiting again!

The burger is excellent and they have a very good beers in the menu. The guys make their own bacon, pulled pork, many of their sauces and grow lots of spices in their garden. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere super cool!

On leaving work nothing better than socializing with friends. Friends or business associates can enjoy the best happy hour in town and the best craft beers.Bar food (comida de boteco) and some days good quality music. Watch the schedule, arrive early, around 6pm and enjoy!
