Been there 2 times in the last month. It was so busy on a Thursday night that we finally gave up and left. Tried to get drink at the bar, essentially ignored, (while waiting on latecomers), never acknowledged, finally gave up and left. Went back a month or so later, food was fair, service fair, still disappointed in the whole experience. We are locals and love to support our local businesses, but have to say we will not be back. Give the Sportsman's a try in downtown Ludington. Consistently good food, good service, good prices. GOOD PIZZA!

The burgers are great but the steak is even better!! Make sure the owner (the guy with the beard) cooks your steak because he makes it PERFECT!!! Love the fries too. The fish isn't great so avoid that. The service could be better, but for a smaller place I can't really complain too much. It's our go to place for steak in town.

Yes, it is a chain and most are all alike, however, this one had the best service ever. It was very refreshing to have service from a staff that cares about their customers. The food is always consistent but the service is not. After complimenting the manager about our server, I found out that was the server's first week on her own. She obviously was very well trained. Cudos to Nicole, her manager and trainer!

Have vacationed in Ludington for years,just tried The Grand on a verbal recommendation and were very pleased.Great burger,gigantic Nacho plate.Would advise trying the small Nacho plate for average appetites, We ordered the big one,could not finish it.Took it to the beach the next day for lunch and also shared leftovers with the birds(and we love Nachos).Don't let the exterior scare you,local clientele with many retired couples.Nice waitresses.

We made an âOpen Table â reservation as we were docking at the S.S. Badger trip across Lake Michigan. They offer a variety of food (see menu). We wanted to try two different pizzas (What a Dill & Crab Rangoon). Unfortunately they do not offer splitting a pizza as many other places do. This would be a smart addition to their pizza offering.

Having had a fun visit here for the first time NYE, we returned this summer for drinks and dinner . . . twice. Undergoing some construction, but still a fun place for dinner and drinks. Staff are always nice. Price of drinks seem lower priced than elsewhere, with Moscow Mules $5.50 rather than the $8 - 9.50 at other places. Appears to be a place favored by locals, which is always a good sign! Right on main drag in downtown Ludington shopping area.

I'm most inclined to go to the Mitten on alternating Tuesdays when Mike Lenich organizes an acoustic song circle on the stage. If that sounds fun to you, (if you play, join them) you like craft beer and tasty food, by all means go to the Mitten!

Bowl ($6.99 base price) with pulled chicken ($2.49) all of the free toppings and avocado with sriracha sauce. I ordered the nachos ($7.99 base price) with pulled chicken, all the free stuff, plus guacamole ($.79), cheese sauce ($.99) and sour cream ($.49) adds. Don't think the guacamole is made in house since the waitress wasn't sure if it was, but wanted some with my nachos. The tops of both the barrel aged sriracha and Zach's hot sauce were so sticky and left residual sauce on my fingers as I tried to open either of them, nasty. Our waitress with the purple highlights in her hair appears to be new, she didn't know if their guacamole was fresh and if they had Dos Equis beer or not, she took a bit to put in our order even though we had ordered about 5 minutes or so before. My husband had a blueberry crush beer, on draft, it was decent. The barrel aged sriracha was tasty, doesn't taste like the standard sriracha of course, but still good. Zach's sauce wasn't my favorite. The bowl was on the small size, the nacho came on a long rectangular plate and would have been enough for two of us to eat. My husband helped me with my nachos since it was too much to eat alone and it was piled high and smothered and covered with toppings, leaving little nachos exposed. There was a lot of yummy pulled chicken and I am happy to report the guacamole appears and tastes house made fresh. The nacho dish was longer than my forearm. The nacho meal was more bang for the buck over the bowl for the amount of food and toppings on the nachos versus content in the small bowl. Do beware the tables on the sides aren't clean, my jacket cleaned off some residual sauce from the side of the table. Argh.

Although we visited the roof top bar during a rainstorm, we remained dry and had an excellent lunch. Our server was attentive and very helpful. The lobster nachos were amazing. I'm not a fan of the rooftop view (commercial/industrial rooftops, no lake view), it was comfortable despite the rain.
