Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Zakynthos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit Laganas covers the southernmost part of Zakynthos. Its municipal seat was the town of Pantokratoras (pop. 925 in 2011). The municipal unit of Laganas has a land area of 74.104 km². Its largest towns are Mouzaki (pop. 1,702), Lithakia (pop. 1,307), Pantokratoras, Kalamaki (pop. 890), Laganas (pop. 729), and Keri (pop. 469). The central and eastern part of the municipal unit are flat, but there are hills up to 450 m elevation in the west. The Zakynthos International Airport lies in the eastern part of the municipal unit, near Kalamaki. The beach village Laganas, part of the community of Pantokratoras, is on the southeastern coast. A large part of Laganas is a national park, established for the protection of turtles.

Just came back from zakynthos. Lifeâs a beach was such a nice place to go for a drink and the cocktails are really cheap but good! Emma who works there made us really feel like home and she was the reason why we came back every day!

On walkabouts on the beach, we were staying at an all inclusive hotel just down from here. What a location !!, a very helpful young lady found us a table, and took our drinks order, although very busy, the drinks were promptly delivered, they have a great selection of drinks including cocktails, prices are very reasonable for this area. Staff are Super helpful and full of local information, which is perfect for newcomers to the island, like we were. Will definitely return to dine, meals looked excellent, and customers have staff great praise for their meals.

We called in here for a drink and ended up staying for a few hours and had a shisha whilst we were there. The place was warm and inviting and had the added comfort of the egg chairs. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the evening we spent there.

Superb food and service. Right on the beach with comfortable seating. Cannot wait to return to sample more of the menu. As a coeliac I was very impressed with the extensive choice of gluten free options And the server was knowledgable. Thank you

Sorry for the tongue in cheek headline, the owner will get it and probably a few others who have already visited....Great bar, decent snack food, good music, live sky sports and a top class owner! Loved it, called in almost every day for late afternoon drinks/snacks. Top tip - If the owner mentions the matchbox game, run for your lives.

Me and my husband called in here for something light to eat as we had just arrived in laganas. Lovely clean bar and staff are very welcoming. Food was hot and very tasty and the cocktail I had was perfect, strong and did the trick perfectly. Very reasonably priced for high quality food and drinks. Views where amazing. Glad we found this bar 1st as will be back many times over the next 2 weeks

Once again I have returned home after having brilliant evenings at Bar Fantasy. This place is a must to visit - lovely friendly family, great food, great atmosphere, occasional bingo wins, and a huge variety of karaoke singers. You receive a lovely warm welcome from ALL the family, and are made to feel special. I always go home with some really lovely memories of my time at Bar Fantasy. Yamas folks.

Honestly cannot recommend this place enough, absolutely brilliant food, brilliant atmosphere and for certain brilliant service. Notable mention must be EMMA! Outstanding service always having a smile on her face, always made us laugh and also sorted me and my mates out in the night time for drinks, which of course went down well with us. Overall everyone should at least give this place a try, its a proper classic american diner and you will not be disappointed!!

I will start by saying this was my favourite restaurant in Zante.The staff were so friendly and really made our experience special, so much so that we returned twice more for food and again for drinks.The house wine was amongst the nicest we tried in Zante and charged at 6 euros for a 50cl carafe which was in line with other restaurants in the area. The mousakka was cooked in a clay pot and was the nicest I have ever tried. All mains were very reasonably priced with the majority under 10 euros.The greek breakfast was absolutely amazing and came with a very large hot drink and a large glass of juice too.The views are stunning and the seating is spacious meaning that even if you are not on the front row of seating you still get an excellent sea view.We found the service perfect. Not rushed but by no means slow. The staff were genuinly helpful and friendly but we also found them really funny too. They were always cheery despite the long hours and even maintained a smile during a torrential downpour we endured during our stay.I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone for both food and drinks. It is fantastic.
