Vinäger is our urban oasis located in the world heritage city of Visby. The restaurant is open from June to August. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. The cocktail bar is open late and we have both resident and international Djâs performing.

I returned to my favorite resturant in Visby & had my usual bookmaker sandwich which tasted as good as ever. The service was rather slower this time but pretty understandable as it was Almadhalen week. Enjoyed a nice glass of champagne and the food was yammy as always. Make it a point to drop by Vinager whenever you are in Visby as its one resturant that never disappoints. Always better to make a reservation.

Very convenient as we were staying (Gula Honan Pensionat) above the restaurant. Is a well know and highly recommended restaurant in Gotland. We tried the fusion style tapas but only limited choices. The raw fishes marinated with lemon juice and garden grown herbs and chilly was indeed a fantastic combination to go down with beer. The meat skews were also perfectly cooked. However, the portions were really small to be shared by two people and pricey too. But was an interesting experience to try it, worth the money. The waiter was very polite and professional to explain each dishes to us prior to ordering.

Walking along the Visby waterfront, we first noticed the large yellow building marked Bjorkander, then saw a large menu board out front among the tables. It was very windy so we decided to dine inside. After sitting for several minutes and seeing customers approaching the bar, I did the same. We chose joda's fish and chips with peas and I selected from several draught beers, paid with credit card, and were given an order number with the receipt. I picked up a beer and a glass of water from the pitchers on a side table, then watched the cook from our table. Our hot food soon arrived with tartar sauce and I asked for ketchup. Everything was delicious, the restaurant attentive and we used the clean restrooms before departing. Great stop for 184SEK= ~$21.

So this is a great place for tapas and the next time Iâm coming Iâm only choosing the cheese dishes, they are amazing! That doesnât mean the other dishes are bad, they are delicious as well! Good prices and nice staff who makes sure everything is satisfactory.

Visited this place for the first time. Didnât like their wings, but I am very picky when it comes to wings. To be honest they were what they advertised i.e. barbecue glazed wings but not to my liking. Good burgers, but too cooked for me. You have to pay extra for fries or any side you want such as coleslaw. I guess this could be good from an environment perspective since we tend to throughout a lot away but this really ads to the price when you arrive with kids. At the end of the day OK but not more than that for me.

We were there on Midsummer night and it was not as crowded as we had expected. However, we had a reservation for 8 and a nice table was set for us. Our menu was set and it included a salad, a steak and a chocolate dessert. The meat was a bit tough in my view but tasted good. Our server was courteous, friendly and professional. We had a good evening.

We came to this area of Gotland to see the amazing rock formations at the beach. We saw this very funky looking, bohemian restaurant. There were tables scattered around a bar out front, lounge chairs and an area with stuff for kids to play with. We went in to the main bar where you place your order and pay. We ordered 2 pizzas and beers (they have over 100 to choose from) and they were delivered shortly. I only wish we had more time to come back and try more food. We loved this place, the staff and attitude!

I had bangers and mash, wife had fish and chips. Both were very good. My wife ordered a glass of wine and received a very generous portion. I had an English stout and it was one of the better stouts I've had. Very pleasant meal. Building is very interesting on multiple levels. Thank you very much for your feedback. We went for lunch and had pizzas and lasagne. The lasagne (not homemade) was very small, not even half of a normal portion. Pizzas had good size but bad ham. Prices were high.They only accepted cash - no cards.
