Had a work Christmas (2018) party at Indigo restaurant and it was delicious. The supreme chicken was tender and thyme sauce flavoursome . Went again on Thursday night with work and was so disappointed. The chicken was small dry and lacked flavour. The Tyne sauce was just cream and thyme not reduction or flavour at all . Pumpkin and zucchini was over cooked and twice the size of chicken piece . For $25 plus it was a big disappointment. I will never book another work function again there. Staff where great and did listen to us as no one was happy with there meal. Hi Pet1101,I am really sorry that you and your guests were disappointed with the meals you received on Thursday 25th and that the team working was not able to rectify those issues for you on the night. Loveee this bar with it's cool dim lighting, funky Jazz music and amazing Cocktails and amazing mixers with freebie nibblies and you can also order food in there also to totally unwind. We usualy have a drink here and go upto the Chinese which we luv at the Club or go to the Star Buffet if extra hungry.

My wife and I came here on a Wednesday night and the food was excellent. There was plenty of space in the restaurant and a wide variety of drinks was available. Lovely spot, great views of small yacht club marina and bay. Very good meal for club, very busy, many tables booked for lunch on a regular Sunday but meals were presented quickly and tasted great.. good selection of local beers and wines, an enjoyable visit

We had a great lunch at South End Social. Booking for a large group was easy & they were very accommodating. The menu is great with plenty of options. The service, staff & meals were all great. Coffee is good too. You can't go wrong. We'll be back again

Was there for lunch today with 6 other friends. Although the choices were great but service was very poor. Three of us ordered our lunch followed by the other 4 friends. however the food arrived and the friends who ordered after us got theirs first. We waited for another 10 mins. before we got ours. Then we ordered dessert and coffee. We all went up together to place out order but we were each served at different times. They served three of us, then served other customers, then served another two of us, served others and lastly the last lot was served to us. Very disappointing and the waitress, who has been there for a very long time, is quite unfriendly and appears to be stressed out. The food there is lovely and the desserts are very generous and they serve one of the best Mochas, unfortunately serive wise they are flat.

Our first visit since December 2018 and menu has certainly improved. Much more extensive. Four of us for lunch and all our meals were wonderful. Fish and chips, warm Thai salad, chicken schnitzel and lamb shanks. Serving sizes have increased too. Service was friendly, efficient and our meals arrived quickly. Beautiful setting. No complaints at all and we will be back.
