I'd love to give this place 5 stars, as in many ways it deserves it. There are few really modern and nice places to eat/drink in Kupang, but this is one of them. Great inside bar and pool tables, lovely outdoor area with a pool, and live entertainment most nights.The service is generally good, and while a bit pricey it's what you'd expect to pay for this kind of place. The food can be great, but alas it's pretty hit and miss. I've had some good meals here but also some pretty darn ordinary ones. Also, sometimes they just don't have beer. For one of the biggest bars in town, that just floors me. Almost 2 weeks without Bintang, when everywhere else in town has it. That sounds like poor organisation to me. It's these inconsistencies that bring the rating down for me. We were 4 persons, having dinner with different meals and drinks at this restaurant.The services were accurate, repeated on our meal order in order not to make mistake. The girls are polite and working fast. I have delicious fried fish, fresh and tasty spicy. My other companions ordered Indonesian food. We were satisfied with our complete meal.

Driving around in Labuan Bajo and spotted this colorful building. Turned out it's a hostel with a rooftop bar. We decided to check it out and NO REGRETS! The view from up there is crazy beautiful. We waited for the sunset and it was amazing! The place is comfortable and the prices of food and drinks are quite reasonable. Definitely recommend it!

Disappointed by tasteless food, prepared with standard ingredients as basis and then combined with an equally set of standard flavor options.Too bad that the flavour was only to be found outside the meat. Shrimp size prawns were not fresh, friend rice a bit too greasy.Only thee sambals were ok in terms of having flavour.

We really enjoyed the handmade cocktails at happy hour. Nice, appropriately priced foods that we could share. Good variety. Interesting cocktails (not just the basic). Donât pop in here âquickly.â A quality cocktail takes a minute to make. With games available to play, a pool to swim in - pull some chairs together and hang out a while!

I went to Bajo Taco with high expectations based on the reviews. I ordered the tacos with the soft homemade shell. The shell completely dissolved in my hands - so it became a fork and spoon meal. The food itself was decent. It didnât have a particularly strong flavor - spicy, smoky/grilled, etc. but it got the job done. Great view from the place. Hello Ben, Thanks for reviewing. For our homemade soft tacos, I think I know the issue and have now corrected it.Being in a remote location with limited resources we often have to improvise recipes. CORN FLOUR MASA is not produced in Asia, however we can get it imported. Our solution is to creat a mix of Import Masa and locally sourced ground corn. The upside is its abundant and actually has a GREAT flavor (i personally prefer it to plain masa tortillas). The downside is they can be a little more fragile if not made in the proper sequence and proportions. I re-reviewed with the girls and adapted the proportions already to make sure they are back in track. As for flavor, I'm sorry it didn't live up to expectations. Im guessing you opted for the shredded Chicken tacos, which we intionally make less spicy, on demand after years of requests for 'mild' options. We always provide our famous Spicy Chipotle-Mayo on the side to add some dimension and judging from customer feedback it ALWAYS kicks flavor and spice up to the max! Did you not try it?But thank you for your feedback so that I could check and fix the issue.Safe travels
